Hello,

Welcome to Affirmations for Sleep.

Thank you for being here and please know that your presence and existence in this world is valued and appreciated.

Let's begin by getting even more comfortable,

Whether that's in preparation for sleep or for a meditation.

Making sure that you're fully supported in your posture and able to completely relax into this moment.

Nothing else is important right now.

Nothing else needs to occupy your mind.

Nothing needs to take up space.

Nothing requires your attention except the now.

And as you become more settled and relaxed,

Maybe start to notice how your breathing feels in this moment.

Seeing whether you're able to deepen your breath at all.

Can you expand your abdomen with every inhale,

Allowing the belly to relax and retreat back towards the spine with every exhale?

Can you create an even greater sense of expansion?

Not only in the chest and in the belly,

But also in the heart and in the mind.

Just as you feel this great vastness opening up inside of you,

Creating such spaciousness in your mind.

Until eventually thoughts just seem to drift in and out.

Never lingering.

Never staying still.

Simply being observed and then gently floating away.

Reminding yourself to be gentle.

And if thoughts do seem to find their way back to you again,

You can just gently allow them to leave and move on.

Knowing that you can return to them at any time.

But just for now,

Whilst we have this time to think,

Thoughts can just wait.

Remembering that you can also find your way back to the present moment just by paying attention to the sound of my voice or by reconnecting with your breath.

Maybe even just placing a hand on the stomach to help encourage that sense of connection.

That reminder that you can bring everything back whenever you need to.

And in this beautiful moment,

You can just feel this beautifully relaxed headspace that we've created together.

Listen carefully as we affirm these thoughts.

I am supported.

I am loved.

I am important.

I am valued.

I am strong.

I am brave.

I am determined.

I am capable.

I am confident.

I am beautiful.

What an absolutely beautiful meditation. I used this to begin my day with and I am so glad I did. Naomi had a perfect speaking voice, lovely accent and gentle tone. The affirmations were so we'll chosen and so needed. Interestingly, through the affirmations, I felt as though both my adult and my inner child were being acknowledged at once, the chosen words seemed to go in waves between the two and it was divine. I also loved the backing music, which at points seemed to match the calmness or intensity of the affirmations. I loved this meditation and will definitely save it to use again when I need reminding of myself. Thank you Naomi. Many blessings. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ€
