Welcome to your morning meditation.
I'd like you to sit quietly with your spine gently lengthened.
And close your eyes.
Feel your shoulders relax.
And gently relax your jaw.
Take a full deep breath in.
And a full breath out.
And another in.
And out.
And another in.
And out.
Feel the gentle support of the surface beneath you.
Remember,
Today is a brand new day.
Full of possibility and potential.
Think about one small thing that you're grateful for.
It could be as simple as taking the time to be here right now and breathing.
It could be gratitude for someone you care about.
Or thinking about someone who's always supported you.
Being grateful helps you focus your attention on what's going well for you.
Take a full deep breath in.
And a full breath out.
And another one in.
And out.
If your mind starts wandering,
That's okay.
It's perfectly natural.
Just bring your awareness back to your breathing.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
As you begin your day,
Ask yourself,
What matters the most to me today?
Set an affirmation that you will act in accordance with what's really important.
We feel in alignment when our actions match our values.
And each day you get the chance to recommit to what you really care about.
Each day is a new chance to be happy.
Each day is a new chance to be fulfilled and to feel at peace.
