GONG Welcome to this self-healing meditation for anxiety.

Gently close your eyes.

Feel your body settle and notice where your body is making contact with the surface beneath you.

Relax your shoulders.

Feel your jaw gently relax.

Take a full deep breath in and out and another in and out.

We can feel anxiety when we're worried about the future or when you don't feel safe in your body or in your nervous system.

In this meditation,

You'll use your breath to quieten your mind and help your body feel safe and relaxed.

Take a deep breath in and let it out with a big sigh and let it out with a big sigh.

Ahh.

Say to yourself,

In this moment,

I feel safe and grounded.

In this moment,

I feel safe and grounded.

Feel the support of the surface beneath you and relax into your body.

Take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Repeat to yourself,

I have everything I need to feel safe right now.

It's normal to experience anxiety at times in your life.

So give yourself some self-compassion and kindness.

Take a deep breath in and out and another in and out.

And out.

If you notice your mind is wandering,

That's completely normal.

Just acknowledge it and bring your focus back to your breathing.

Breathing in deeply and out fully.

Tell yourself,

In this moment,

I feel at peace.

In this moment,

I feel safe.

Anxiety has no power over you.

It's just a sensation like any other.

Let it come and let it go without judgment.

Acknowledge and accept each part of yourself.

You are worthy.

You are loved.

Take a deep breath in and out and another in and out.

And another in and out.

Thank you for taking this time to meditate today.
