Celestial Adventure: Remembering Purpose

Drift among the stars, and journey beyond, in a guided adventure that will reignite a sense of wonder and gratitude. Transported on a gossamer cloud, you’ll celebrate the miracle of simply becoming, and reconnect with the divine mission of your life. This practice can be used prior to sleep, to drift into a comfortable and rejuvinating slumber, or simply to experience a highly relaxed state of mind.

Welcome and thank you for being here.

We'll be going on an adventure of discovery and renewal in a short while.

But before we head out,

Let's spend a couple minutes centering into a state of deep relaxation.

Make yourself comfortable and take a few deep cleansing breaths.

Imagine yourself in a glass elevator,

Overlooking a magnificent atrium within an opulent and elegant hotel.

No worries if heights make you nervous.

As you survey the lavish space,

You see there are just three floors beneath you.

Early morning sun is streaming into the grand foyer,

Illuminating a colorful array of floral arrangements,

A manicured garden anchored by a koi pond,

And polished stone pillars.

It's a 21st century castle,

And right now you have the place to yourself.

The elevator is poised to descend,

And as it moves past each floor,

You will find yourself becoming more and more relaxed.

By the time you step onto the atrium's gleaming marble floor,

You will have released all physical and emotional stress.

Go ahead and press the lobby button.

Slowly and gently,

The elevator glides to the third floor of the hotel.

In this initial descent,

Your whole body softens.

Tension that has been hiding in your shoulders and jaw is dissipating.

Your limbs are loose and heavy.

As you head to the second floor,

Textures and colors become more vivid and defined.

Notice how your mind is calming.

Thoughts are quieting,

And emotions are now more placid.

You are finding your equilibrium,

Settling into a deeply relaxed state.

And now you begin the last gentle descent to the lobby floor.

Any lingering vestiges of stress are released,

And you are blanketed by the weighted comfort of a deep peace.

The elevator doors open,

And you step into the colors and scents of a beautifully designed oasis.

Wend your way toward the pond through the towering floral arrangements.

There's a cushioned lounge chair waiting for you.

Stretch out and take in the beauty of this gleaming,

Sun-drenched palace.

The serenity that fills your soul at this moment will remain with you throughout the journey.

And though your spirit will be traveling into new terrain,

You'll remain safe,

Always tethered to your body through your breath.

As you refocus your attention,

You see that the lounge chair has given way to a blanket of soft green grass.

Look around.

You're comfortably stretched out in a verdant field.

The sun is shining just as brightly as before,

But now you're out in the open,

With the intoxicating scent of clean air and lavender swirling all about.

Along the edge of the field is a natural bramble fence,

Filled with songbirds busily darting among the tangle of branches.

Lay back,

Spread your hands wide,

And run your palms over the cool,

Silky grass.

Staring up into vibrant blue,

You become lost in a sea of billowy clouds.

Your orientation to the planet shifts a bit.

It feels like you're falling up and up.

This weightlessness is a new sensation.

There's a sense of buoyancy,

And you realize you are actually cocooned in one of the clouds.

As you run your fingers over this ethereal nest,

You sense that you're lying upon filaments spun from the finest silk and softest down.

This strange shade of white appears both translucent and solid.

You are safely cradled,

Yet aware of your unbounded potential.

Floating upwards now,

The greens and purples of the field fall away,

And birdsong fades.

The air is so clean in these heights.

It evokes thoughts of freshly washed clothing drying on the line,

Or a morning walk in the mountains.

Images of childhood delights drift through your consciousness.

The scent of something delicious baking in the oven.

Stories and drawings from a book you cherished.

Places in nature where you felt happy and free.

Allow your cloud to meander through whatever joyful memories arise.

The landscape is changing,

And the blueness of Earth's atmosphere gives way to a darker colored sky that is reminiscent of a clear winter's night.

But this is not any atmosphere you've experienced,

For the sun continues to shine,

Radiantly juxtaposed against a deep indigo sky.

And now,

Pinpoints of bright gold,

Silver,

And sapphire begin to emerge.

Slowly at first,

Now faster,

Until you're surrounded by thousands and thousands of glowing stars and planets.

From this vantage point,

It feels as if each and every celestial body has been purposely placed,

And you have an inkling of a grand design.

The planet Earth looms nearby,

A radiant gem among all the jewels in your vision.

The cerulean beauty sparks a sense of belonging and gratitude so profound,

Your heart swells with affection.

The gossamer filaments you were resting upon have melted away,

And now you find yourself drifting through waves of shimmering light and sound.

The mind has little connection to this place,

But your spirit clearly knows it is home.

Gold and indigo have melted into constantly shifting incandescent colors.

You are awestruck by the complete sense of purpose and harmony that surrounds you.

Awash in joy and immersed in an ocean of divine energy,

Language and thoughts are losing their relevance.

Set yourself free in this love,

For love is the only possible human word for where you are.

Out펴iuser You You Quietly as your attention comes back from the far realms You have an understanding that your soul was once given a mission in this very space A divine inscription was written in stardust and forged into your DNA You've been brought back here to remember that purpose Take some time to let your spirit contemplate the reasons you incarnated in this lifetime You You It's time to start venturing back And though you may not feel ready to part leaving this astral bliss will be difficult Your soul now knows it can travel here at any time This space of peace and beauty is always available to you Helping rejuvenate through the often challenging work of making your way on planet earth An odd sensation permeates and you realize you are no longer out in the universe but inside your mother's womb A spectator to your own creation watch the amazing process of cells bonding Assembling organ by organ,

Limb by limb following the wholly unique blueprint that will manifest as you And now you advance to the miraculous moment where body and spirit become one And you fully embrace all the reasons you have come here You You It's time to come back to your beautiful and divinely crafted body Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and gently return to the present moment Thank you for journeying so far with us We send you back into the world with love and a blessing to live your life's purpose with gratitude and joy You
