Billy and Zack the cat go to Candyland.

Hello and welcome to this video recording.

This is called a guided meditation,

But it is really a kind of story,

A calming way to end your day before you fall asleep.

Think of it as a bedtime story where you get to picture everything that happens in your own mind.

This meditation is about Billy and his best friend,

Zack the cat,

Whom you might know from their other stories here.

Even if you don't know Billy and Zack yet,

They are so happy to meet you.

After a hard day at school or a day filled with laughter and play,

A little rest is always welcomed.

Getting some rest means tomorrow you'll have a lot of energy to study hard,

Play your favourite games and explore.

Even superheroes need to sleep.

Saving the world is not an easy job and it can't be saved with that little shut eye at night.

Now you can just listen to my voice and let yourself relax.

Concentrate on the story and nothing else.

Let today's worries pass and tomorrow be tomorrow.

Now that the sun has gone down and the day has turned into night,

It's the perfect time for you to relax and go to sleep.

The sun has gone down and the stars have come out just for you.

They shine on you from above and guide you safely through the night.

Tonight,

We will go on another adventure with Billy and Zack.

They will take you to a magical place called Candyland.

Billy and Zack are best friends.

They have been together for many years and will never be apart.

Their adventures are the best times they spend together and the two best friends have one almost every day.

Now let's get ready to go.

Close your eyes and snuggle into your comfy bed.

Make sure you are tucked in,

Warm and comfortable and just let your whole body relax.

Think of a happy place.

Imagine yourself in a beautiful green meadow.

There are many pretty trees and flowers and butterflies flying from one flower to another.

There is endless space to run around and have fun.

Listen to the quiet chirping of the crickets and the beautiful bird songs.

Listen to the gentle bubbling sound the nearby river makes as the water hits against the rocks.

Everybody here are your friends.

Birds fly with the butterflies,

The fish play together in the water and over there,

Just across the meadow,

Are Billy and Zack and they are waiting for you.

And what's that beside them?

It's a hot air balloon.

It's so big and looks amazing.

Run over to greet your new friends.

Billy and Zack want to see the whole world and they would like to take you with them.

Along with their hot air balloon,

Harry,

They go everywhere.

You all climb into the basket and Harry takes off with a whoosh.

You are climbing up into the bright blue sky.

You can see the ground getting further and further away.

Look up,

Look at the horizon and how beautiful the blue sky is.

Not a single cloud is in sight and it's all systems go for Candyland.

On the way,

Billy,

Zack and Harry take the scenic route.

Looking down,

You can see many of the most famous cities in the world.

It's beautiful.

There are many people rushing to do their daily chores or to get to work while you're up here where it's quiet and calm.

From here,

All the people look like tiny ants.

The sun is caressing your cheeks and warming your back.

I can't wait to get there,

Exclaimed Zack.

The three friends can't wait to show you the wonders of Candyland.

After many miles of floating over two oceans,

Three tall mountains,

Three continents and as many cities,

There it was.

The gates of Candyland could be seen from afar,

As Harry the hot air balloon got closer,

The closed gates got bigger and bigger.

It is so beautiful.

As you approach the gates to the park,

You can see that it is surrounded by beautiful green fields and a huge brick fence surrounds Candyland,

Made of candy of course.

Harry gently lands in front of the chocolate gates and there is someone special there to greet you.

Hello,

Friends.

Their great friend,

Buddy the white lion was there to meet them and show them around Candyland.

Hey,

Buddy,

Great to see you,

Say Billy and Zack.

I have been waiting for you.

I have a big surprise for you.

Billy and Zack wonder,

What could it be?

Buddy told them,

You should know that you're the very first visitors to see this place.

It's all brand new.

After your visit,

We are expecting that all the kids from the entire world will come here and have fun like never before.

But you have to promise me something first,

Okay?

Added Buddy.

Please go easy on the chocolate you eat as it's getting late and too much chocolate can make your tummy hurt before bedtime.

Billy and Zack agreed and with that,

Buddy the lion lets out a big roar.

Slowly the huge gates swing open and they all walk inside Candyland.

Before them was the biggest park they had ever seen.

It looked like there was no end to it.

There were tall candy towers,

Chocolate lakes,

Lollipop mountains,

Soda fountains and roads made with candy.

Welcome to the Candyland Adventure Park,

Shouted Buddy,

Admiring the great view.

We just finished the ice rink.

Here you can skate,

Play hockey and dance.

Plus the ice is in fact ice cream so when you get tired you can just sit down and have some of the best ice cream you've ever tasted.

Wow,

Billy and Zack were amazed by it all.

Zack ran up the stairs to the first chocolate tower and waved down to Billy.

He then slid down along the water slide or should I say a chocolate slide which went around the tower and threw him into the chocolate pool below.

They had a great time.

It was just like the mall,

An amusement park,

A water park and an ice skating rink all rolled into one but much bigger.

And instead of water everything was made of chocolate or candy.

They played amongst the candy trees,

Skated on the ice rink and explored all of this magical place together.

They went on a ride on the candy train that took them over the lollipop mountains and played on a giant castle made of peppermint sticks.

There is so much to see and do in Candyland and Billy and Zack want to give you a little bit of time now in your imagination to go and explore the park a little bit further.

Enjoy just these next few moments and see what you can see in this amazing place.

Billy and Zack had a great adventure and I'm sure you did too but after many hours of fun it's now time to go home.

Billy and Zack thanked their good friends Buddy and everyone at Candyland and they all climbed back into Harry the hot air balloon for their trip home.

They travelled back through the giant gates and gathered speed.

Full speed ahead Harry!

Shouted Billy as he turned back and looked at Candyland.

They really loved that place.

They watched as the gates closed and the night fell over the park.

Buddy turned on all the lights inside as a final goodbye to his friends.

The large Candyland sign shone bright and showed them the way while all the other smaller lights made Candyland look like a giant sparkling Christmas tree.

They continued on their way and passed the same places they saw the first time.

Only at night it was even more beautiful.

From up above the city lights came on.

They looked down at the and sized people below as they went home from work,

Met their friends for coffee or went out for the night.

Everybody was very happy.

Nearly nearing the meadow right next to your home Harry gives the final countdown.

Hold on everybody,

We're about to land.

3,

2,

1 and touchdown!

He shouted.

You all thank Harry for taking on a great adventure and walk home.

You Billy and Zack turn to walk up the path which leads to a sidewalk that heads right to your street.

The night air is cool but not cold and when you finally reach the walkway up to your door you are yawning and very tired.

You and your friends tip toe into your house and into your bedroom where you crawl back into your soft cozy bed.

Zack hops up on your pillow and rubs his soft furry face against your cheek.

This is cat language for I love you and you feel so happy that Zack is your friend.

Billy helps you pull the covers up around your face and tucks your favourite stuffed animal into the crook of your arm.

I like your room a lot he says.

I hope we can play together again soon.

You say thank you and tell him that you will come and see him as soon as you can.

The two of you hug good night and Billy and Zack tip toe back out of your house home to their own soft bed.

So here you are warm and safe in your own bed.

Feel your pillow under your head,

Your body resting gently against the mattress.

It is nice to be home after a busy and fun filled day at Candyland.

You let your eyes drift shut,

Calm and cozy in your very own bedroom.

And if you listen closely you can almost imagine the sound of the air as you travel in the balloon again on your way to Candyland.

Today was a good day and tomorrow will be even better.

This is the end of the story.

Close your eyes and relax.

Billy and Zack will see you again soon.
