We're kicking off this reading paying attention to the animal one that comes through and that is the mantis.
The mantis is all about concentration,
Attention,
And quietness.
It's bringing our minds into focus and making us pay attention to the present moment.
Concentrate on what is important for us and realize what is going on in our minds and hearts.
Also talking about the importance of spirituality and this is a very very spiritual creature.
It brings into sharp relief all of those things that we keep sort of hidden under the surface and connected to in places that aren't so quite as obvious as the physical plane.
It's talking about being in a very maternal and feminine power as well as the power of observation,
The power of praying,
The power of meditation,
And the power of going inward and paying attention to those darker spaces of our minds.
So the mantis is saying to you today,
Yeah let's take a look inward.
Let's take a look at our spiritual side because that's going to be our guide for the next few weeks.
The second card that comes in is the past life card which says be spiritual.
This is a card that represents that you are a very spiritual spiritual person and that comes through with the mantis as well.
You're connected to things that are unseen and you know how to connect to things like angels or a clear meditation practice or crystals or witch practice.
You're a person who's highly spiritual and tends to say things through the spiritual lens and the mantis and this past life card are calling your attention to that extreme power that you have.
Not everybody gets to be a spiritual being like you are and so you have to learn to find ways to share this gift with the world in return for you know energy.
The second past life card that comes in is the one that's from the city and that just brings our attention to the importance of you sharing out what it is that you want to share out spiritually.
The city reminds us to connect to those people around us and to make very clear plans to get the word out about what it is that we offer spiritually to those around us.

You're almost there you just need to put in a little bit more effort and sometimes we just need to test our commitment to recommit to something and to realize how much we truly want something even when things are a little bit difficult.
Just a little bit of drama to bring into harsh light what it is that we would like to truly have in our lives and how to achieve that as well as having the wherewithal and the strength to keep continuing forward.
