OM Chant.

In this exercise,

We will chant the word OM.

We all crave the feeling of being connected.

It's important to us.

The OM chant will help you connect with your original spiritual nature,

The way you were in the beginning of time,

When your only awareness was of being an immortal soul.

OM chant is deceptively simple but profoundly stills your mind.

The word yoga means union or connection.

When we chant OM,

We come into yoga with the spirit.

This direct contact with the powerful spiritual energy of OM flushes and cleanses our consciousness.

Our mind becomes transparent and we can see reality.

The OM chant is cumulative.

That is,

After a few days of chanting,

You will notice more and more benefits.

Soon,

You will directly go deep into meditation the moment you start to chant.

It is not that you're trying to meditate,

But you immediately enter a pure state of yoga.

So are you ready?

Let's begin.

I want you to chant aloud along with me.

OM So if you cannot hold your breath that long and the chant has to be shorter,

That's fine.

Do as long as is comfortable for you.

Again,

Chant aloud along with me.

OM Again,

Chant along with me.

OM Like I said before,

If you cannot hold your breath for that long,

Just do it as long as you feel comfortable.

And while chanting OM,

Silently affirm to yourself,

I am pure light.

It's almost like you're visualizing your light and that light is chanting OM.

Let's do it.

OM OM No need to create an experience.

Simply chant the word OM.

OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM OM Slowly and gently.

Remember,

There is no pressure for an experience.

Just say it slowly and if your mind wanders,

Come back to the word OM.

Every time you chant the word,

Affirm to yourself,

I am pure light.

OM Keep affirming to yourself while chanting,

I am pure light.

It should feel as if the word is coming from your mouth,

Is coming from your light.

For the next few minutes,

I want you to chant the word OM aloud.

And if your mind wanders,

Just bring it back to the word and keep chanting.

Slowly and gently.

After we chant the word OM,

Let's repeat three times the Sanskrit word for peace,

Which is Shanti.

OM Shanti Shanti Shanti Focus your mind on peace.

Remind yourself,

I am perfect the way I am.

I completely accept everything around me the way it is.

I am still and serene.

So again,

After the OM chant,

Let's repeat the Sanskrit word for peace three times.

OM Shanti Shanti Shanti Let's do it once more.

After the OM chant,

Let's repeat the Sanskrit word for peace three times.

OM Shanti Shanti Shanti This chant nourishes the soul to its core.

It relaxes your nerves and you feel completely refreshed.
