We can take nothing for granted.
What seems certain can be removed from us in a blink of an eye.
So much of our pain comes from the attempt to control,
To be sure of what comes next,
The outcome.
Leading to overthinking and distress,
To a life lived in mind,
One of fear,
One of not trusting.
Eventually all that we hold dear to our hearts will transform into dust and fade away.
Life is a gift,
An opportunity to embrace uncertainty,
To make every moment everlasting,
To be present when it happens,
To kiss with our entire being,
To run as if a tiger were chasing us,
To love fiercely,
To create as if there were no tomorrow,
To live each day as if it were our last.
Uncertainty can be a gift if we learn how to see what it is trying to teach us every moment of our lives.
