A guided meditation for connecting with your higher self.
Finding a comfortable position.
Gently closing your eyes and drawing your attention to your breath.
Begin to take deeper inhales and release with slower exhales.
Finding a slow and steady rhythm as you feel your lungs expand and then contract.
Making any final adjustments you need to be comfortable.
Settling into your space and focusing on your breath.
In your mind's eye,
Begin to visualize a cord that connects from the base of your spine all the way down to the center of the earth.
This serves as your grounding cord.
And through this cord,
Begin to release everything in your space that is not yours to carry.
Releasing any energy from others.
Releasing the past,
The future.
Releasing any to-do lists.
Releasing any anxiety.
Releasing anything that's not serving your highest and best good so that you can be fully present and embodied.
Visualize dropping down these items or these feelings or sensations,
Letting them go.
Checking in with your breath,
Slow and steady inhales matched by long rhythmic exhales.
Begin to visualize an orb above your head.
This orb represents your energy.
With your next breath,
Consciously call back your energy from any place you may have left it.
You can repeat after me.
I call the fullness of myself from anywhere I may have left it in any lifetime.
I call it in now.
I own it.
As you visualize your energy being returned to you,
This orb grows brighter and brighter.
When you feel the fullness of your energy here with you,
The orb dissolves and the light inside washes over you.
Visualize it coming down your crown,
Down the back of your neck,
Cascading over your shoulders,
Down through your chest,
Into your hips,
Through the legs,
All the way down to the soles of your feet.
The fullness of your energy has been restored to you totally and completely.
You are grounded and centered in this present moment.
Checking in with your breath,
Finding those long deep inhales,
Matching them with rhythmic exhales.
Then tuning into your heart space,
If you can visualize your heart,
What would it look like?
If your heart had a feeling,
What would it feel like?
If it had a texture,
What kind of texture would it have?
If it had a weight,
How heavy would it be?
If it had a color,
What color would it be?
As you begin to identify these traits of your heart space,
We're really visualizing your higher self and we'll use this visualization to connect with our higher self wisdom and tap into any messages that are relevant for the here and now.
Once you've visualized what that heart space looks like,
What it feels like,
How much space it takes up,
What color it is,
Notice how bright that light is.
What is it emitting?
With your next breath,
Ask your heart,
What do you have to teach me?
What messages do you have for me today?
And trusting the very first thing that comes through as a knowing,
As a feeling,
As an intuition,
Knowing that you can trust the guidance of your heart,
Knowing that it has your best interests in mind,
Knowing that it serves your highest and best good and it acts as your true north,
Taking a moment to sit with any insights or information or visuals or feelings that are coming through for you,
Observing how much wisdom there is available to you,
Your heart is a portal to your higher self and you can always access this portal to find your way.
When you feel ready,
Thanking your heart space,
Bowing to the wisdom within and acknowledging that this guidance is really the voice of your soul.
Whatever information it is that you received,
Bring it into your body,
Seal it in with a knowing,
Trust the message you received.
Do this using a conscious breath in and then out.
When you've finished,
Notice where in your body the truth feels like it resides.
Check in.
Is there anywhere else that you can send healing energy today?
If there is,
Direct this heart source into that space and with each breath,
Focus on that area.
Watch the light dissolve any resistance and provide healing on a deep physical,
Energetic or emotional level.
When you feel complete,
Bring your hands to your heart center,
Bowing the head slightly,
Taking a moment of gratitude,
Calling it into mind something you are grateful for today.
It could be the wisdom of your higher self,
The face of a loved one,
The earth underneath you.
Feel the vibration of gratitude in your heart and in your body.
Visualize releasing the grounding cord.
All of your energy is restored.
Taking a moment of pause.
And when you're ready,
One more breath in through your nose,
Exhale audibly out of your mouth,
Knowing that you have what you need within.
The wisdom is always available to you.
The soul's voice is always accessible and here for you.
