A grounding meditation.
Bringing your feet flat on the earth,
Take a big deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth with an audible exhale.
Invite your eyes to close.
Take a few more deep breaths as you settle in to the space and become conscious of your breath maybe for the first time today as you root down through the soles of your feet to the ground underneath them.
Feeling your energy in the rest of the day from anything that's transpired all back to this present moment.
With each breath,
You call the fullness of yourself back.
You feel your feet firmly planted.
And you begin to ground.
With eyes closed,
Begin to visualize chakras on the bottom of your feet and open them to 100%.
Invite earth energy up into those chakras.
This can look like roots growing up into your feet.
We can take the form of a certain color or plants,
Water,
Whatever resonates.
Realize this earth energy coming up into your feet,
Swirling around your toes,
Making its way up past your ankles,
Traveling slowly but steadily up to your calves,
Your knees.
You notice that you're beginning to feel almost cemented to the earth beneath you,
Connected to the energy underneath your feet.
This energy continues to flow up past your knees,
Where it spirals around your hips,
Up past your navel.
It floats into your chest cavity,
Up into your neck and shoulders,
Where it splits and travels down your arms and your fingertips.
Finally this rooted earth energy comes up the base of your neck,
Surrounding your crown.
You are one with this grounded earth energy.
Notice feeling for a few moments with your breath how good it feels to be present and centered and one with the earth underneath your feet.
With your next breath consciously sealing in this feeling of groundedness and then very slowly beginning to watch this energy recede from the crown of your head back the way it came,
Like a wave flowing back out to the ocean.
This energy slowly makes its way down your body,
All the way back out the soles of your feet into the earth,
Closing your feet chakras so you still feel connected,
Thanking the earth underneath you for holding you and supporting you and caring you,
Taking a moment to seal in with gratitude this feeling of centeredness within your being,
Trusting that you can bring the fullness of yourself now into the rest of your day.
When you're ready slowly opening your eyes,
Coming back to this base and having a beautiful day.
Namaste.
