Welcome to this meditation to help you kick off the new year with clarity and tension and release.
As we begin,
Find a comfortable position,
Whether you're seated or lying down.
Once you feel comfortable,
I invite you to close your eyes and take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.
This is going to be your time to pause,
To reflect,
And to align with the energy of new beginnings.
Let's create a space for a few goals and intentions to come through and for you to release anything that may be holding you back.
Now let's take another deep breath in and out,
And let's continue by grounding ourselves.
I want you to imagine a golden light at the top of your head.
This light is warm and gentle.
It begins to flow down through your body,
Relaxing your face,
Your neck,
Your shoulders.
Feel this golden light traveling down your body,
Through your arms,
Through your chest,
Your belly,
All the way down your legs to your feet.
It's going to ground you into this moment,
And with each breath,
I want you to feel yourself sinking deeper into this calmness,
Falling deeper and deeper in.
Then as you exhale,
Let each exhale help you let go of any tension or stress.
Now as that golden light keeps you charged and calm at the same time,
Feeling this energy flowing through your body,
I want you to picture roots extending from the soles of your feet into the earth around you.
These roots,
They connect you to the steady grounding energy of the earth.
They support you as we begin to step into a space,
Energetically,
Where we can set intentions and where we can release the old.
Now before we set the intentions,
I think it's important to release what no longer serves you.
Take a moment to think about something that you're really ready to let go of.
Maybe it's a fear,
Maybe it's a habit,
A belief,
Or maybe just an experience that feels really heavy,
Something that's got you feeling stuck.
Now imagine placing this energy into a glowing bubble of light in front of you.
And as you breathe out,
Nice deep exhales,
Allow this bubble to grow.
Allow it to hold all the weight of this energy you're ready to release.
And as it takes the weight,
Allow yourself to feel lighter and lighter through this kind of nice deep inhale.
And exhale all of that weight into that bubble.
Beautiful.
Now again,
As you take a nice deep breath in,
And this time as you exhale,
Imagine the bubble gently floating up,
Up,
Up,
And away.
Dissolving into the sky.
Feeling that lightness in your body as you let it go.
Now I invite you to repeat silently to yourself,
I release what no longer serves me.
I am free to step into my highest potential.
I release what no longer serves me.
I am free to step into my highest potential.
One more time.
I release what no longer serves me.
I am free to step into my highest potential.
Continue that deep breath in and that deep exhale out.
Creating space for the new in your body.
Now that you've created space,
Let's focus on your intentions for the new year.
I want you to think of three goals or intentions you'd like to set.
They can be about anything.
They can be growth,
Relationships,
Health,
Creativity,
Or really anything that feels meaningful to you.
Beautiful.
Let's start with the first intention.
I want you to picture it so clearly in your mind.
I want you to feel into what would it take to achieve this goal.
Even if it feels like there's a million things stopping you,
What would it take to feel like you've achieved this goal?
How will your life change when it becomes a reality?
And what does that feel like?
What does that feel like?
And once you have that feeling,
I want you to take a moment to silently affirm it to yourself.
Or if you wish,
You can say it out loud.
I set the intention to.

Put whatever it is you're trying to set your intention for there.

Alright.
Now we're going to move on to the second intention.
I want it to just be able to form clearly in your mind.
See yourself stepping into it.
Fully embody this goal with joy and ease.
What does it feel like?
Allow yourself to feel that feeling of gratitude,
Joy,
Stability,
Whatever that feeling is.
And then silently affirm it or say it out loud.

Now let's go to the third intention.
Bring it to your mind.
And again,
Feel the excitement of the alignment of this beautiful goal as it comes into your life.
Embody it.
What does it take to get there?
And as you take a nice deep breath in,
We're going to do this one more time.

Alright.
Another nice inhale.
And exhale.
And feel all three of these beautiful intentions begin to glow brightly within your body,
Like seeds that you've planted in your own fertile soil.
Allow them to be ready to grow and thrive,
But know that seeds do take time.
You got to keep watering them.
You got to keep taking action with them.
And as we step into the new year,
You have this beautiful energy,
This fresh slate,
This collective knowingness that something new is happening.
Now take a moment to feel gratitude for yourself.
You've made it this far.
Thank yourself for showing up and even taking time to visualize what your goals and intentions are for being a dreamer.
Know that your goals are already in motion.
In the universe,
It's aligning to support you.
Have a little faith.
Believe that you deserve those feelings of gratitude,
Those feelings of joy,
Those feelings of knowing that you not only showed up for yourself,
You believed it was possible,
You took action,
And you held space.
Know that you have the power to release the old and to embrace the new.
When you're ready,
You can take one more nice,
Deep inhale and exhale with me.
Now gently bring your awareness back to the room.
Allow yourself to wiggle your fingers and your toes,
And when you feel ready,
