Find a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down.
Close your eyes and gently rest your hands where they feel most at ease.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely,
And slowly exhale through your mouth.
Continue this practice as you settle into stillness.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body,
And imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet or the base of your spine,
Extending deep into the earth.
These roots are strong.
They're grounding you into the present moment.
With each inhale,
Draw in stability,
Draw in support.
With each exhale,
Release tension and release worry.
Allow it to flow down into the ground around you.
Allow it to be transformed.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Breathe deeply but naturally,
And as you inhale,
Imagine drawing in a soft golden light,
A light that represents inspiration and peace.
Now as you exhale,
Release any tension or creative blocks.
Inhale golden light.
Exhale stress and doubt.
With every cycle of breath,
You're creating space within yourself for calm and creativity.
Imagine a door in front of you.
This door leads you to your creative sanctuary,
A safe,
Peaceful space where your imagination flourishes and your inner artist feels completely at ease.
Picture yourself opening the door and stepping inside.
What does your sanctuary look like?

Or maybe it's a quiet forest where inspiration whispers on the breeze.
Let this place be whatever feels perfect for you.
Take a moment to explore the sanctuary.
Feel its warmth,

In this sanctuary,
You are free from judgment,
Both external and internal.
Now repeat silently or aloud,
I release the need to create perfection.
I allow myself to create with joy and ease.
