This is Daily Magic for Peace.
Today we will create space for our bodies in this moment.
Welcome to The Circle.
So the only thing you need today is your body.
I invite you to join us just as you are and to connect with our intention for today.
To get started and move a little more deeply into our bodies today,
Calming our nervous systems a little bit,
I invite you to join me for a little bit of stretching.
And let's be really gentle with this.
So just stretching however you can in the space you're in.
Maybe stretching your arms or legs,
Or maybe rotating your neck very carefully,
Or stretching your back out a little bit.
Remembering to breathe,
Stretching with connection to the body,
Stretching with appreciation to the body.
Just gently stretching to wake up the body and say,
Hello,
I'm here,
We're here,
We're together.
And breathing goes along with stretching.
So always remember to breathe when you're stretching.
And as we finish stretching,
I invite you to settle back down into a very comfortable position,
Checking in with your grounding,
Noticing where's the earth in relation to you,
Allowing yourself to effortlessly connect to your grounding,
Your grounding cord,
Your roots,
However you visualize that.
And today I would like to do a full connection with the chakra system with you.
So I invite you to follow along and drop into whatever degree feels right to you.
So starting with that grounding cord,
Also connecting to the earth star chakra about six feet below your body to see what it feels like to touch into that energy center.
If it's not one you're familiar with,
You might need to kind of imagine it,
But that's fine.
So just connecting there.
And coming up to your first chakra at the base of the spine,
Allowing that to open and flow,
Noticing how does it feel today?
How does the experience of listening to information about the war affect it?
The situation in your life,
How does that affect it today?
Just notice how is your first chakra today?
And now floating up to the second chakra,
This is just below the belly button.
This is where we might experience flow and openness and connection,
Creativity.
How is that chakra for you today?
And moving up to the third chakra at the solar plexus,
This place where we know who we are and we know what we want,
And we make things happen,
It's a very active center.
Third chakra,
How is your third chakra today?
And moving up to the fourth chakra at the heart,
How is your heart today?
How do you feel in this moment?
Are there fears?
Are there worries?
Are there things you're holding on to?
Are there things you're deeply,
Deeply in love with today?
Just noticing.
And moving up to the fifth chakra at the throat center,
How open is your throat center?
How connected are you with your voice and your vibration right now?
And the center of head,
Otherwise known as the sixth chakra,
Otherwise known as the third eye.
If you have any images stored in there from media,
You can release those,
Clear out that space,
Connecting to your intuition.
What is your connection right now to your intuition?
Just feel into it.
And seventh chakra,
The crown of the head,
You're connecting,
Beginning to connect up now.
What is that connection like?
Is there anything you need to move out of that space so that you can connect effortlessly up the way you're connecting effortlessly down?
And the eighth chakra,
Which is kind of a whole bunch of other chakras,
Above the seventh,
Maybe about a foot or two above.
Just noticing.
Can you feel them?
What's going on up there?
Is there anything you need to let go of?
Is there anything in your way,
Again,
Of connecting up?
And as you're ready,
Continuing on up,
Connecting up as you connect it down,
Connecting up to the cosmos,
To the heavens,
To your higher self,
To goddess god,
To whatever is up there for you.
If it's just the clear blue sky,
Whatever is up there for you,
Connecting up effortlessly as you connect down so that you feel your divine line,
As a lay a doubt calls it,
Your divine line that goes up and down.
You feel this core that is your unique energy,
That is just your unique energy.
So in this moment,
As we are together in circle,
And you're not alone,
I invite you to check in with your body.
Is there a way you'd like to express or you'd like to move or a sound you'd like to make or a movement you'd like to engage in?
Is there something that your body really wants,
Wants to do or wants to not do?
If you're sitting and you want to be lying down,
Is there a way you can lie down?
If you're wearing a scratchy sweater you want to take off,
Can you take it off?
Is there a way to hear and respond to something that your body wants right now?
It can be very subtle.
Our daily life and the world around us can put a lot of pressure on our bodies.
So it can be nice to take some time to just listen and respond.
And if you're getting a request that you can't fulfill right now,
Write it down,
Make note of it,
Make a commitment to fulfill this request for your body as soon as you can or when you can.
Just feeling in,
Continuing to feel in,
Continuing to connect.
And when you feel ready,
I invite you to take a deep breath and thank your body for connecting with you,
For being willing to be connected to and for speaking to you in whatever way your body spoke to you.
And know that this is a practice you can recreate for yourself whenever you'd like to find a little bit of balance within the chaos of everyday life.
I hope you're feeling a little calmer and more in touch.
And I invite you to take this feeling with you into your day.
May it be so.
