Hi, I’m Shamash Alidina — author of Mindfulness For Dummies, mindfulness teacher, ACT trainer, and all-round lover of stillness, silliness, and small steps. I’ve been teaching mindfulness and self-compassion for over 20 years in schools, universities, and companies around the world. I run the Daily Mindfulness Club, where we meditate together live each morning — it’s a gentle, friendly space to start your day with presence and peace. I also offer breathing courses inspired by science and eastern wisdom, drawing on insights from teachers like James Nestor and Patrick McKeown. My approach is playful, grounded, and non-judgemental. You won’t hear much about “fixing yourself” — because I believe you’re not broken. Instead, I guide you to notice what’s here, be kind to it, and gently step toward what matters. My work blends mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), nonduality, and positive psychology — all with a touch of humour and a deep respect for the mystery of being alive.
