I want you to start by taking a few slow,

Deep breaths in through your nose,

Out through your mouth,

Filling up that belly as you inhale.

And as you exhale,

Sinking deeper into your seat,

Relaxing all your muscles.

And as you continue this breathing with every exhale,

I want you to drop out of your mind and drop into your body,

Quieting the monkey mind,

That logical mind,

And connecting directly to your heart.

And for the next eight breaths,

I want you to keep your focus on your heart.

For the next eight breaths,

I want you to keep your focus on your heart.

As you inhale,

Feel your heart expand.

As you exhale,

Feel your heart contract.

This is what we call heart coherence.

Inhaling,

Expanding your heart.

Exhaling,

Contracting your heart.

Inhale,

Expanding your heart.

Exhaling,

Contracting your heart.

Three more.

Inhale,

Exhaling,

Contracting your heart.

Exhale,

Exhaling,

Contracting your heart.

Inhaling,

Expanding your heart.

Exhaling,

Contracting your heart.

Three more.

Inhale.

Two more.

Last one.

Inhaling,

Really expanding your heart space.

Exhaling,

Contracting that.

Now,

Keeping your eyes closed,

Breathing normally,

I want you to see in your mind a path right in front of you.

Maybe it's a dirt path,

A sand path,

A sidewalk.

Just take a moment to visualize this in front of you,

Tuning into what reveals itself in your mind's eye.

See the details of this path,

The surroundings of the path.

Are there flowers,

An ocean?

Where is this path located?

See it clearly in your mind's eye.

And once you have a detailed view of this path,

I want you to start strolling down it.

You have nowhere to be but on this path,

And with each slow step you take,

You're just taking in the experience.

Maybe you feel the wind on your face,

The sun on your back.

Maybe you feel the temperature of the air.

Using all your senses to tap into this experience,

What do you see,

What do you hear,

Taste,

Smell.

And as you continue walking,

You realize that with each step you take,

You shed a layer of your humanness.

You realize that with each step you take,

Your negative feelings,

Negative thoughts,

Limiting behaviors,

The energy of life experiences that don't serve you,

Start losing the control they had over you.

You realize that with each step you take on this path,

You feel more free,

More abundant,

More energized,

And are quite literally stepping into the truest,

Most pure version of you.

As you're walking and shedding these layers,

Maybe you look back behind you to see the heaviness you're leaving behind.

Maybe that heaviness presents itself as shackles,

Maybe as a dark cloud.

Take a moment here to witness what you're leaving behind before you continue walking further and further away from that energy.

And as you continue walking down this path,

You continue forward into your truth,

Shedding these layers that don't serve you.

Pay attention to how you feel as you get further along on this journey.

Take notice of any changes you experience,

Any subtle shifts in energy.

Tune into that.

Now you've come to a point on the path where you realize that up ahead there's an ending,

And at the end point is a bench.

You see that bench clearly.

Maybe it's looking out to an ocean or open field.

Take notice of what color the bench is,

Its texture,

How the sun hits it.

And as you get closer to this bench,

You notice there's a mirror placed face down on the seat of it.

Go ahead and sit next to that mirror,

Taking a moment to breathe in the air.

Notice your surroundings.

Feel into your own energy,

Your own peace.

And somehow you know that this mirror next to you is going to show you your truth.

It's going to show you who you are without the weight of your experiences,

Without the burden of negative thoughts,

Feelings,

Behaviors.

So go ahead,

Take a deep breath,

And then pick up that mirror and view the reflection of your true self.

Take a good look at her,

Tuning into the changes you see,

Tuning into what you feel,

What comes up for you.

Maybe you feel so relieved to see this person in the mirror looking back at you.

Maybe you feel and look lighter,

Brighter,

Happier.

Just revel in this for a moment.

Now I'm going to ask you a few questions,

And I want you to either continue looking at the reflection of your true self as you answer,

Or you can put down that mirror and feel into the answers,

Whatever resonates with you.

With each question I ask,

Knowing that you in this moment on this bench are the purest expression of your soul,

Knowing that you in this moment are truly the embodiment of your authentic self,

I want you to answer from this space.

Answer as this person,

As this person is you.

Okay?

Who are you?

Who are you?

What is one word to describe you?

What sets your soul on fire?

What is it that you want to do with your life?

What are the beliefs you have about yourself?

What is your truth?

What would you say to the version of you who hadn't yet shed the layers of their human experience,

That version of you who was at the beginning of this path?

What would you say to her?

Taking a few moments here to feel into these answers,

Into this energy,

Imprinting it into yourselves,

Your nervous system.

This is what the true you feels like.

This is who you are beneath the layers of your humanness.

Take a moment of gratitude for this journey that you just went on,

For the path that led you here,

For your beautiful surroundings.

Maybe placing a hand on your heart,

Breathing in this gratitude if that resonates with you.

When you're ready,

You can get up from this bench and begin your walk back,

Knowing that this version of you is going to take the journey back with you,

Knowing that as you put one foot in front of the other,

You become more and more connected to this true version of you,

Trusting that this true version of you is never going to leave you,

Trusting that as you pass that heavy energy that you shed on this path,

You will not pick it back up.

Then once you reach the beginning of that path,

The place where it all started,

I want you to take three deep breaths,

Locking in this connection to yourself.

When you're done with those three breaths,

You can open your eyes.
