Welcome to this guided meditation.
This guided meditation will be a great way for you to leave the day that was,
And any troubles you may have had behind you.
It's all about becoming calm.
This is your time now.
A time for you and your mind and your body to completely switch off and become calm.
Because when our bodies are calm,
We can start to open up and feel our own senses and begin to go within.
It lets our personal batteries start to recharge and lets us hear what our body needs most.
This could be maybe more rest,
It could be more sleep,
Or maybe just some more time to slow down.
So let's begin.
Begin to close your eyes and take a seat in a chair with your back sitting straight up,
Or you can lay down on a bed or a sofa.
But just make sure you get nice and comfy.
Let's take a moment now just to compose our thoughts and get grounded.
We will do this by taking three big deep breaths in through our nose and then out through our mouth.
Deep breaths in through our nose and then out through our mouth.
But make sure that your out-breath is longer than your in-breath.
Begin to feel your body start to slow down.
Begin to feel your mind start switching off and slowing down.
And most of all,
Begin to feel your spirit start to rest.
Using your third eye which is in the middle of your forehead,
Start to open up and begin to see yourself walking along a path in a forest and the sun is starting to set.
You are happily on your own,
In your own company,
Seeing big green leafy trees either side of you.
Birds are singing and beautiful flowers line the path that you walk along.
So as you walk,
Take some time now to really observe what you see.
You notice it's starting to get dark,
So you continue on your way to your very own private log cabin.
This cabin is in a secluded wood where you can be your truest,
Your most calm self.
A place for you to just be still.
After walking up a slight hill,
You finally reach your log cabin and start to put your hand on the door handle.
Begin to open the door and walk inside.
Now that you're safe and sound inside your beautiful log cabin,
You start to notice that outside,
Thunder and rain is approaching in the distance.
This does not worry you because you know that you're at home,
So you become very comfortable and get changed to some comfy warm clothes and just start to relax.
You make a warm cup of tea and begin to take a seat on a couch in front of the fire and everything just feels so comfortable.
You start to look out in front of you and all around you and start to notice how being in your beautiful home in the middle of the woods has really started to calm you and helped you find your peace.
You grab a big warm blanket and your nice hot cup of tea and start to let the day that was just slip away.
After relaxing for some time,
You grab a cup of tea and you start to relax.
You grab your favourite book or maybe your favourite magazine and begin to snuggle in.
You start to notice how warm and cosy you feel and feel oh so good.
And deep down you know that this alone time is really starting to fill up your own internal battery.
I will now give you some time alone just to be still,
Just to do what makes you feel good.
Start to listen to your inner voice and let it tell you what your body needs.

Now that you've had some time on your own and feel so much more calm than you did before,
Start to take a final look around your beautiful warm secluded log cabin.
It's time to start coming back,
Back to the place that you're in.
You can do this by taking a big deep breath in and then out.
Start to wiggle your fingers,
Begin to wiggle your toes and as you do,
Just remember that you can always come back to this space anytime you like.
Start to call your spirit back into your body by just opening your eyes,
Start to stretch and know that you are loved.
