Part 4 of the Breathe with Me Series The practice of diaphragmatic breathing is for engaging the "rest and digest" functions of the body. It can also help with clarity of mind and better sleep. In this practice we use the body to help, by placing the hands over the belly, fingertips slightly touching. With each deep inhale, the belly expands and as we push out, we push our fingertips away. As we exhale, we release the breath and the belly comes in and fingers come back together. We do 24 rounds.
