
De-Stress Body Scan
This meditation provides a state of deep healing and relaxation. It also allows one to reset the mind and provide an experience that provides a clearer and expanded state of consciousness, through deep relaxation of the whole body. Doing this body scan mediation will assist in naturally decreasing the hormones cortisol and adrenalin in the body. This Body Scan also referred to as Yoga Nidra is an especially good practice to calm anxiety and restless thinking because the mind is given specific tasks for the majority of the practice. People who are deeply mentally tense and exhausted may fall asleep and, while it is not recommended to sleep, the necessary respite if it is much needed will be reached through this practice.
