Meditations on the 48 Laws of Power During last session,

We meditated around the second law,

Never put too much trust in friends,

Learn how to use enemies.

In that session,

We explored friendship and the importance of having enemies to build power and grow ourselves.

On today's session,

We'll reflect on the third law,

Conceal your intentions.

We'll explore the importance of never revealing the purpose behind our actions in order to build power and stay disciplined and collected.

Before we start,

Take this moment to move the body to help it regain flexibility.

This will make us feel lighter,

Which can help to have a deeper meditation.

Find a quiet space where you can sit or lie down comfortably and where you won't have interruptions for the next few minutes.

To declare the start of this meditation,

Breathe in deeply,

Fill your whole body with air from the bottom of the feet to the top of the head,

Then release a soft and long exhalation.

Repeat with me,

I allow my body to let go of tensions.

I allow my mind to slow down and open.

Law number three,

Conceal your intentions.

Most people are open books.

They say what they feel,

They blurt their opinion at every opportunity,

And they constantly reveal their plans and intentions in the process.

One reason for this is because it takes no effort to do it.

It's easy and natural to speak about our feelings and plans for the future.

In other words,

We are being mindless.

We are operating automatically.

Another reason is that most people believe that honesty shows good nature and that earns people's hearts and trust.

Reality is different.

Honesty is more likely to offend people,

And speaking too much may reveal key information that conflicts with achieving our goals.

To earn power with our interactions,

We can practice being mindful of our thoughts and feelings.

We can practice to be collected by understanding and noticing our impulses.

That is how we attain power.

Think about a situation where revealing your intentions prematurely may have impacted the outcome.

Allow feelings and insights to surface without judging them.

Reflect on times where you spoke too early or acted by impulse.

Ask yourself,

What are my true intentions in a current situation?

How can I strategically reveal or conceal my intentions for the best outcome?

In what ways does maintaining a sense of mystery serve my goals?

As you inhale deeply,

Repeat after me.

I hold the power of intention.

I reveal and conceal strategically,

Enhancing my influence and achieving my goals.

I hold the power of intention.

I reveal and conceal strategically,

Enhancing my influence and achieving my goals.

I am collected.

I am powerful.

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Acknowledge how you are feeling,

Accepting it fully.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Carry with you the power of strategic intention built in this session and allow yourself to use them for your own goals.

See you next time.
