Sound Bath Sessions 114: Madeleine Bandera

I recorded Maddy Bandera at her space, Concentric Circles Of Healing, nestled in the Kampong Bahru conservation area. A fellow Filipino and 20-year veteran of the corporate world, she followed a calling to a different path which grew out of her own meditation and energy healing practice she had been doing before the pandemic.

The tone of this session was more uplifting as she played with the higher notes in her scale. She finished by walking around and striking a single metal bowl with a high pitch. That bowl… The pitch, the frequency, everything about it pierced straight to my core shocking me over and over with every strike. Its icy breath raising my hair and giving me goosebumps.
