Sound Bath Sessions 077: Saravi Tsz Ming
I had the privilege of recording Saravi this week at his teacher’s studio at Austin Tower in TST. It was a very quiet, soft, and welcoming space. Saravi had a set of large white crystal bowls and his style was dynamic, playing with tempo and note combinations. His rhythms were abstract sometimes striking several bowls in a fast sequence then slowing down to let them ring before starting another phrase. This track was intended to give energy to the trapped spirits around us to set them free. It had amazing fast rhythms and repetitive sequences. I was under his spell during the second recording nodding off and losing track of time. He could have kept me under indefinitely had I not stopped him.
