Sound Bath Sessions 071: Debbie Sin
Though it has taken two months to finish her sessions, she has used this time to think about how to make each one unique. In this session she used a locally made hand pan. She has been learning it for a few months and wanted to add it this time. She began with the hand pan weaving intricate rhythms and melodies in a soothing fast-paced composition. A tinkle of chimes marks the edge where you prepare to be brought down deeper and deeper as she slows her tempo almost to a standstill letting the bowls fully ring out. You hold your breath between every strike. Her restraint and the delicateness she has when creating these drops of sound leave you swimming in your thoughts. As her tempo picks up, she slowly brings you out of the depths and ends with the hand pan to bring you back up to the speed of reality.
