Sound Bath Sessions 050: Emma & Vicky

While I like to record all the tracks at once for efficiency, spacing out the recordings can create a more varied performance. Emma Cheung and Vicky Chan could only record one track a month, but each recording had a clear concept from the last one.

In this one, Emma used the rain hoop and ocean drum during the piece while Vicky played the bowls in the background. This was unique because the bowls usually take precedence in the session. This is also an example of how great having another pair of hands can really make each session unique.
