Welcome to Letting Go and Opening Up to Our Creativity Part 2.

This is a mindful writing,

Visualization,

And exercise.

Find yourself a place where you can both sit and write.

If possible,

You will be writing with pen and paper.

At the end of the visualization,

I will give you a writing prompt and you will free write,

Meaning that you'll keep your hand moving across the page without stopping or editing until I tell you to stop.

In part one of letting go and opening to our creativity,

We let go of body tensions.

We let go of thought patterns,

Beliefs,

Habits,

Tension in the body,

All things that didn't serve us so that we could open up to our creativity.

In this mindful writing,

We'll do just that with the visualization.

So let's begin.

Take your seat.

Put your feet flat on the floor,

Your hands palms up on your thighs.

Sway on your sit bones until you come to a comfortable resting spot.

From there,

Stretch your spine up.

Bring your shoulders up and back and down.

Relax your jaw,

Your forehead,

And come to the present moment.

Be here now and breathe.

Imagine yourself in a forest,

An enchanted forest.

Tilt your head up ever so slightly,

Like a flower rising to sunlight.

There is sun streaming through the tree branches.

As you walk,

You see a bridge over a stream.

You cross to the center and look down into the water.

You see creatures swimming below in the sun dappled water.

You continue walking across the bridge and then further.

You come to a clearing.

A tree stands alone.

It's a tree you know and love.

You walk to it.

You put your hand against its trunk.

Reunited.

Under your tree,

You find a locked box.

You discover a key in your pocket and you open it.

What do you discover?

Write about what you discovered in the box.

Keep writing.

I'll keep track of the time and I'll let you know when to stop.

I'll let you know when to stop.
