This meditation is for the moments when your attention lives more in someone else's mood, needs, or reactions than it does in your own body. Using gentle bilateral tapping alongside slow breath, this practice guides your focus back home, away from monitoring another person and toward your own chest rising and falling, your own needs, your own experience. This is not about caring less for the people in your life. It is about remembering that your own inner world is allowed to be the whole picture sometimes, not just the background to someone else's. A calming practice for codependency, attachment patterns, and the exhausting habit of losing yourself while trying to manage someone else's emotional state. This practice works well any time your thoughts keep drifting outward, before a call, after an argument, or whenever you notice yourself managing someone else's feelings more than your own.
