The Sunday scaries are less about the actual work ahead and more about the anticipation running unchecked hours before it needs to. This meditation meets that anticipation directly, using breath and a simple mental separation between today, which is still yours, and tomorrow, which hasn't arrived yet and doesn't need to be lived in advance. The dread tends to shrink considerably once it's not being fed by hours of premature rehearsal. Especially useful on Sunday evenings, but works for any end-of-break dread before returning to something demanding. A meditation for work stress and the specific anticipatory anxiety of watching free time run out.
