Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Soften your gaze and let your eyes close.
Pay attention to your natural breathing in and out.
Allow your body to relax.
Allow the muscles in your face and jaw to let go.
Stop any tension that you're holding in your neck and shoulders,
Feeling your arms heavy at your sides,
Your hands relaxed in your lap.
You are grounded to the earth through your sit bones,
Stable and connected.
Repeat these affirmations in your mind.
I release the stress that I carry in my body,
The pent up emotions that I collected throughout the week do not serve me and I will not carry them any longer.
With each breath,
I return to my natural state of peace and calm.
Continue to breathe naturally.
With each breath in,
Inhale peace and with each breath out,
Release stress.
