Welcome,
My beautiful friends.
I am so glad you're here.
Today we're going to talk about something that makes my heart sing.
The energetic energy body of animals.
If you have an animal companion in your life or you've ever felt that inexplicable worthless knowing between yourself and a creature This talk is for you.
Most of us who walk a spiritual path are familiar with the seven main chakras,
From the root at the base of our spine,
Up through the brilliant crown at the top of our head.
And these spinning wheels of light are the energetic architecture of the human body.
They govern our physical health,
Our emotions,
Our intuition,
Our ability to speak truth,
To love,
And to connect to something greater than ourselves.
What many people don't know is this Animals have 7 of those chakras and then some Our animal companions carry an energetic body that is,
In many ways,
More expanded than ours.
They have 8 major chakras,
21 minor chakras,
Which function primarily as sensory centers,
And 6 abhata chakras.
And the fact that they carry this extra energy tells us something profound about why they are here and what they came to teach us.
Us.
So let's walk through the whole beautiful map together.
Animals share all seven of the major chakras we human carry,
But their expression is slightly different,
Shaped by instinct,
By wildness,
By an unfiltered connection to the living world.
The root chakra in animals is located near the base of the tail.
It governs survival,
Safety,
And groundedness.
And because animals live so close to the earth,
They feel the ground beneath their paws,
Hooves,
Claws.
And their root chakra is often more naturally open than ours.
When an animal is anxious,
Fearful,
Or stuck in flight or fight patterns,
This is the chakra to focus on first.
Time in nature,
Barefoot walks with you and for your animal companion together,
Gentle contact with earth,
All of these feed the root.
Then there is the sacred chakra,
Governance,
Creativity,
Pleasure,
Emotional flow.
In animals this is the seat of playfulness,
Social bonding and the joy they express so freely when they are well and loved.
When an animal loses interest in play or becomes emotionally withdrawn,
The sacred chakra may be asking for support.
Then there is the solar plexus.
This is the chakra of personal power,
Will,
Identity.
In our animals,
This governs their confidence,
Their sense of self within a group or family,
And their ability to hold healthy boundaries with other animals and humans.
A dog who becomes a bully or one who cowers may be expressing a solar plexus imbalance.
That brings us to the heart chakra in animals,
And this is of course extraordinary,
Because animals love without condition,
Without ego,
Without keeping score.
Their heart chakra is often wide open in a way that hampers us.
This is why they heal us just by being present.
Their open hearts transmit pure love frequency into our field.
This brings us to the throat chakra,
Governs communication.
Not just sound,
But all the ways of being expressive of itself.
For animals,
This includes vocalization,
Body language,
Posture,
Eye contact,
And that subtle energetic signals they constantly send us.
When an animal seems unable to express itself,
Or barks or vocalizes extensively,
The throat deserves attention.
Bringing us to the third eye chakra,
Sitting in the brow and in animals to the nose or nostril,
Deeply connected to the centre.
Animals are constantly absorbing and processing sensory information at a level we can barely fathom.
Their instinct is ancient and refined.
Their sixth sense emanates from a primary sensory center located at the bridge of the nose just below the third eye and one of their 21 minor chakras.
This is why animals seem to know things before we do.
Bringing us all the way to the top,
The crown chakra sits on top of our head,
Connecting all beings to the universal energy and higher consciousness.
In animals,
A balanced crown promotes a sense of purpose,
Harmony,
And a deep receptivity to healing.
When animals are depressed or withdrawn,
Their crown often dims.
Now,
Here is it when it gets truly beautiful.
Animals carry an eighth major chakra that we humans do not have,
And it's called the brachial chakra.
It is also sometimes called the key chakra,
Because it's the key to everything.
The brachial chakra is located on each side of the animal's body in the shoulder area.
In dogs,
Cats,
Horses,
Any animal,
You find it at the front of the shoulder near the base of the neck and just above the front legs.
It is bilateral,
Meaning it exists on both the left and the right side of the body simultaneously,
Creating a field of energy that wraps around the chest shoulder region like a sacred embrace.
This chakra is the main energy center in all animals.
It links directly to every other chakra in the body.
Healers who work with animals have long understood that when you balance the brachial chakra,
The whole energetic system becomes more responsive.
Nothing else lands quite right until this center is open and flowing.
And this is why in any healing work with an animal,
Reiki,
Sound,
Crystal work,
Or simply your loving hands,
You are always beginning here.
But in the most astonishing thing with the brachial chakra,
Its primary function is the human-animal bond.
This is the chakra,
Is the energetic seat of trust.
It is where the relationship between a human and an animal is formed,
Carried and nurtured over time.
When an animal has a strong loving connection with their human companion,
Their brachial chakra is vibrant,
Luminous,
And actively spinning.
When an animal has been abandoned,
Abused,
Or has never allowed to trust.
This chakra may be dim,
Closed or blocked.
And interestingly,
Practitioners who work with animals often visualize this chakra in tones of silver.
Black or deep charcoal grey,
Grounding colours,
Protective colours,
Colours that speak of anchoring and of safety.
This chakra is why animals can serve as bridges between human and the spirit world.
This is why rescue animals so often heal their rescuer.
It's why the bond between human and animals can feel so sacred,
So prearranged.
So much like a soul contract written before either of you have arrived on this earth.
When the brachial chakra is blocked or imbalanced,
You might notice stiffness or limited movement in your animal's shoulder,
The front limbs or upper back.
And you might notice difficulty trusting,
Reluctance to be approached or the inability to form a connection,
Even with you,
Even after time has passed.
Another side,
A beautiful open brachial chakra,
Looks like an animal that runs towards you,
Leans into your hands,
Holds eye contact with warmth,
And participates openly in your life.
The Brachial Chakra is the reason your animal chooses you.
It's the center through which they give their energetic yes to the relationship.
Beyond the 8 major chakras,
Animals carry 21 minor chakras.
These are primarily sensory sensors.
They are found in and around the nose,
The ears,
The tail.
And they explain why animals sense things we cannot,
Why a dog can smell illness on the human body,
Why a cat gravitates to a place where your pain lives,
Your horses can read the emotional state of a rider before the rider has even mounted.
These minor chakras are energetic explanations for instinct itself.
They are constantly receiving,
Computing and transmitting information from the living world around them.
When these centers are clear and open,
Animals are in full communion with their environment.
And when they are overwhelmed or depleted,
Often because they have absorbed too much of our emotional turbulence,
Animals can shut down,
Become overstimulated or begin to reflect our distress back at us through their bodies and behaviours.
And then finally,
Animals carry six beautiful butt chakras.
One on each hoof,
Paw or pad,
And one at the base of the opening of each ear.
The butt chakras in the feet are portals to the earth connection.
They are how animals tap into the beneficial energy streams that run through the ground.
Have you ever watched a dog paw at a certain spot and then circle and settle without an absolute certainty?
Well,
They're not confused.
They're finding the energy.
They are located,
Locating the place on earth that feels right,
That feeds them.
These chakras are also how animals stay grounded.
An animal with healthy,
Open-butt chakras in their feet feel safe,
Centered,
And connected to the web of life beneath it.
The buttchopper at the base of each ear are receivers of subtle vibration.
They are exquisitely sensitive to changes in the atmosphere,
Approaching thunderstorms,
Earthquake gathering deep in the earth,
The energetic signature of strangers or other animals nearby.
And this is why animals know.
Why they pace before a storm.
Why they react to things we cannot perceive yet.
And these ear chakras are listening to frequencies that most humans have forgotten how to hear them.
So why do animals have more chakras than we do?
I sat with this question many times.
And this was a scum for me,
Is that animals live without the veil of eco.
They do not have a self-concept that separates them from the living world.
They do not build walls of intellect between themselves and the direct experience.
They are fully present,
Fully feeling,
And fully here in a way that most of us spend lifetimes trying to remember.
And so their energy system is expanded in directives of connection and sensing and bonding.
And the parochial chakra,
The minor sensory centers,
The earth and sky receiver in their feet and ears,
These are not extra in the sense of being a surplus,
They are exactly right for the souls who carry them.
Animals came here to be teachers of presence.
They came to model unconditional love and body instinct and radical trust in the moment.
Their shepherds are the energetic equipment they need to fulfill that sacred contract.
They also came,
Many of them,
As healers,
As beings who willingly absorb the energy residue that we humans generate through our stress,
Our grief,
Our fear and our unresolved emotions.
Research in the field of energy medicine has shown that animals genuinely mirror the emotional state of the human delop.
When we are anxious,
They carry anxiety in their body.
When we are sad,
They show signs of sadness.
When we work to clear and uplift our own energy,
Our animals benefit directly.
This is not a burden they carry with resentment,
It's an expression of love.
But it doesn't mean that supporting our animal energetically is one of the the most loving things we can do.
You do not need to be a certified healer to offer your animal energetic support.
You simply need to be presence,
Intention,
And love,
And you already have all three.
So begin with the parachial chakra,
Place your hands softly on each of your animal's shoulders,
All of them,
And will allow it.
Breathe slowly and deeply.
Set the intention to hold space for their highest good.
Visualize a soft warm silver or golden light emanating from your palms,
Flowing into the shoulder centers,
Rippling gently through their energetic system.
You don't need to do anything elaborated.
Stillness is the most powerful thing here.
Breathe.
Be present and let love go through your hands.
For the Bhadrachara in the feet,
Let your animal walk barefoot on the earth,
On the grass,
On the soil,
On the sand.
It's not an indulgence,
It's medicine.
And let them choose where to stand,
Let them paw and circle and settle.
Let them work on their own healing when you give them that freedom to do so.
For the ears,
The butt chakras,
And their minor sensory centers.
Gratitude is a greatest gift.
So give your animal regular periods of general peace away from loud noises,
Screens,
Chaotic household energy.
Animals who live in overstimulating environments have these sensitive centers on constant overdrive and they are exhausted.
So let them rest in silence.
Let their receivers Reset.
To support the full chakra system,
Tend to your own energy first.
Your animal is reading you constantly.
When you meditate,
When you breathe consciously,
When you move through your own emotional material with awareness,
Your animal breathes easier too.
You cleared field,
Give them permission to release what they have holding for you.
You might also use sound,
Gentle drumming,
Crystal singing bulls,
Or simply your own soft voice and humming nearby your animal's body.
Sound carries energy in all living beings,
And animals often respond visually with deep sighs,
With yawnings,
With settling or even falling asleep as the stuck energy moves and is released.
And finally,
Receive from them.
Let your animal heal you too.
Let them lay their head on your lap and open your heart to what they are offering.
The exchange between you is not one-directional.
They came to give as much as they can give and as much as you can receive.
So when I look at an animal now,
Any animal,
A bird landing nearby,
A horse standing still at the fence line,
A cat choosing in my lap.
I see a being carrying a luminous,
Complex,
Exquisitely designed energy body.
I see being with an open heart and a prajna chakra that holds the memory of every bond they have ever formed with a human soul.
I see a being whose paws are connected to the living earth and whose ears are tuned to a frequency beyond our ordinary perception.
I see teachers,
I see healers,
I see ancient ones wearing fur and feathers.
So may we honour them as such,
May we tend to their energy with the same devotion they bring to tending ours.
And may the bond between human and animal,
That sacred bridge held open by the brachial chakra,
Remain one of the most luminous threads woven through the fabric of life in this earth.
So thank you for being here and taking good care of yourself and your beautiful animal companions.
