A message from Butterfly.
I have watched you.
From the very beginning.
I've seen the seasons you are not proud of.
The slow ones.
The Dark Ones.
The ones where you came completely undone.
And wear.
Sure,
No one would ever know how to put you back together.
I was there.
I want you to know.
I never looked away.
And I never once stopped believing in you.
I have felt what it is to dissolve.
To lose the shape of everything.
You were.
And not yet know the shape of what you'd become.
I know how that dark feels like failure.
It's not failure.
It's the most sacred work there is.
So let me offer you this.
You are not behind.
You're not broken.
You are not too much.
Too little or too late.
You are in the middle of something extraordinary.
And the fact that you cannot see it yet,
Does not make it less true.
Every version of you that you have judged.
The one who didn't know better.
The one who fell apart.
The one who chose Rome.
The one who stayed too long.
The one who couldn't explain himself to anyone.
I see all of them.
I hold all of them.
I call every single one of them necessary.
You did not arrive here despite those chapters.
You arrived here because of them.
So did they.
I ask you to do one tender thing.
Lay down the weight of your own verdict.
You have been your own hardest judge for long enough.
You are allowed to be at the beginning of something.
You're allowed to not have wings yet.
You're allowed to rest inside the dock.
And trust that the light is coming.
Because I'm living proof that even the most complete undoing leads somewhere more beautiful than you can imagine from where you stand.
I have lived it.
And what I became was worth every moment of becoming.
And so are you.
Go gentle now,
Carry yourself the way spring carries a blossom,
With patience,
With faith,
With the quiet certainty that your opening is already written into your bones.
You are loved in every stage.
You always have been.
Fly when it's time.
Rest until it is.
And know.
Wherever you are in the turning.
You are already enough.
With wings of light.
And ancient knowing.
Butterfly.
