Good morning to you and welcome to this morning coffee meditation.
This is just a moment of mindful awareness just to really help you carry through your entire day.
So let's get started.
And just find a comfortable spot in your room and be able to sit down very comfortably and place your coffee on the table next to you.
And as you settle in,
Just relax your entire body.
Have your spine long,
Sitting up tall.
Close your eyes.
Take the moment and notice how is your body feeling right now.
And now what is your mood like?
Whatever your answers are,
It's okay.
Just allow yourself to let go a little bit more by softening your body a little bit more.
The forehead,
The neck,
Shoulders,
Back,
Hips and legs.
And just be.
And just simply notice your current state and just allow yourself to be as you are.
And let's just take a deep breath in.
And a relaxing breath out and just let go and surrender a little bit more.
And then gently open your eyes.
And just take a moment right now.
Look around your space.
Take notice of what you see around you.
And now just look down at your hands.
Reach over,
Grab your cup of coffee and wrap your hands around your cup of coffee.
And just notice what you feel.
Do you feel the ceramic of your cup in both of your hands?
That warmth of your coffee warming your hands up?
Even take notice of the weight of your coffee in both of your hands.
And very slowly now,
Just take the cup of coffee and lift it up to your nose.
And just take a deep inhale.
Just inhaling that rich aroma of that coffee.
And exhale deeply.
Good,
Let's just do one more.
Might be one of your favorite smells of that fresh brewed coffee smell.
Inhaling.
Enjoying this present moment.
Exhaling.
And now slowly just take your cup of coffee to your lips and just sip in some coffee.
And allow it to just circulate in your mouth a little bit.
Noticing the flavor.
Noticing the warmth.
And then allow yourself to swallow that coffee down and feel that warmth down the back of your throat.
Down through into your belly.
And feel that warmth in your belly.
Feel that warmth start to expand out into your body.
And take your cup back up to your lips and let's do that one more time.
Another sip in.
And allow yourself to swallow that coffee down.
The warmth,
The flavors,
Everything just lifting your spirits.
That feel good feeling.
The warmth down your throat and into your belly and entire body.
Maybe close your eyes,
Take in another sip.
And just enjoying right now this present moment.
Your mind is at rest.
Your body is feeling peaceful and relaxed.
And let this magical,
Mindful moment set the tone for your entire day.
As you continue savoring your cup of coffee.
