Welcome.
I'm Rosa Rago,
And I'm so grateful you're here.
My hope is that this space helps you slow down.
Reconnect with yourself.
Deepen your connection with God.
And continue becoming the person you were created to be.
Mind,
Body,
And spirit.
For now,
Give yourself permission to let everything else go.
Open yourself to receive and let's begin.
Find a comfortable position,
Either lying down or sitting with your body fully supported.
Allow your hands to rest gently beside you or over your heart and stomach.
When you are ready.
Softly close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And gently breathe out.
Again,
Breathe in slowly.
And as you breathe out,
Allow the weight of your body to settle into the surface beneath you.
You do not need to accomplish anything in this moment.
You do not need to fix yourself.
You do not need to force yourself to feel peaceful.
Simply come as you are.
Heavenly Father.
Thank you for this body you have given me.
Thank you that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6,
Verse 19,
That my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Who is within me and whom I have received from you.
Holy Spirit,
Make me more aware of your presence.
Quiet the noise around me and within me.
Help me release the pressure to strive,
Perform,
Control,
Or understand everything.
Prepare my heart and body to rest in you.
Reveal any place where I am holding fear,
Tension,
Bitterness,
Pressure,
Or pain.
Give me the grace to surrender what I have been carrying.
Let this time be led by your truth,
Your peace,
And your love.
May every breath remind me that I am held.
May every part of my body come into greater peace under your presence.
In Jesus name.
Amen.
Take another slow breath in.
As you inhale,
Imagine a gentle,
Pure white light above you.
This light does not represent something you must earn to create.
Let it simply remind you of the purity,
Peace,
And presence of God.
James chapter 1 verse 17 says that every good and perfect gift comes from above,
From the Father of Lights.
Imagine the soft light beginning to surround you.
Not with pressure.
Not with intensity.
But with warmth.
Tenderness.
And safety.
As you breathe in,
Receive peace.
As you breathe out,
Release control.
Inhale,
Holy Spirit,
Lead me.
Exhale.
I surrender.
Allow that light to gently move towards your feet.
Bring your awareness to your feet.
Notice your heels,
The soles of your feet.
The arches.
The tops of your feet.
Each toe.
You do not need to move them.
Simply notice what is present.
Warmth or coolness.
Heaviness or lightness.
Tension,
Or relaxation.
Your feet carry you through your life.
They help you stand,
Move forward,
Change direction.
And return home.
Psalm 119 verse 105 says,
Your word is a lamp for my feet,
A light on my path.
You do not have to see the entire road ahead of you.
God often provides enough light for the next faithful step.
Allow your feet to soften.
Release the pressure to know every detail of your future.
Release the fear of making the wrong move.
Release the belief that everything depends on you.
Quietly pray,
Lord guide my steps.
Establish my path.
Help me walk in truth.
Imagine the peaceful light moving through the soles of your feet and into your ankles.
Bring your awareness into your ankles.
Notice how they connect your feet to your legs.
Allow the muscles surrounding them to soften.
Move your awareness into your calves and shins.
Notice the front,
Sides,
And backs of your lower legs.
And bring your attention to your knees.
The kneecaps.
The space is behind your knees.
The muscles and connective tissues surrounding them.
Your legs provide support.
They help you stand.
They help you move towards purpose.
They also bend.
They remind us that strength and surrender can exist together.
Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10 says,
Do not fear,
For I am with you.
Do not be dismayed,
For I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Allow those words to settle into your legs.
I am with you.
I will strengthen you.
I will uphold you.
You do not have to create your own safety through constant control.
You are allowed to feel supported.
You are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to receive help.
As you breathe out.
Release any fear stored in your legs.
Release the instinct to run before God has asked you to move.
Release the feeling that you must always brace yourself for what may happen next.
Quietly say.
I am held by God.
I am supported.
I can move forward without rushing.
Bring your awareness into your thighs.
Notice the large muscles at the front of your legs.
The back of your thighs.
The inner and outer thighs.
Let them grow heavier.
Let the surface beneath you carry their weight.
Now,
Move your awareness into your hips and pelvis.
Notice where your body may be gripping.
Allow your hips to soften without forcing them.
This area can be approached as a place of creativity.
Relationship.
Desire.
Birth,
And the capacity to bring something new into this world.
Genesis chapter 1 verse 27 tells us that humanity was created in the image of God.
You were created by a creative God.
You were made with the ability to imagine,
Cultivate,
Build,
Nurture,
And express.
Your creativity is not limited to art.
It could be seen in how you love,
Lead,
Solve problems,
Build a family,
Create a business,
Serve others,
Or respond to life with wisdom.
Your passion does not have to be feared.
Passion surrendered to God can become devotion.
Courage,
Creativity,
And purposeful action.
Breathe into your hips and pelvis.
As you inhale,
Pray,
God,
Awaken what you placed within me.
And as you exhale,
Pray.
Purify my desires.
Inhale.
Restore holy passion.
Exhale,
Release shame and fear.
You do not need to suppress your aliveness.
You can invite God to guide it.
Imagine the light of His presence moving through your hips,
Bringing peace,
Purity,
And freedom.
Now bring your awareness into your lower abdomen.
Notice the gentle movement of your breath.
Allow your stomach to expand naturally.
As you breathe in.
And let it soften.
As you breathe out.
Many people unconsciously hold tension here.
You may have learned to brace your stomach when you just.
.
.
Felt judged.
Unsafe,
Ashamed,
Pressured.
Or uncertain.
For this moment.
Let your abdomen soften.
You do not need to protect yourself from the present moment.
Bring your attention to the center of your stomach and upper abdomen.
Consider this area as a reminder of personal responsibility.
Courage.
Confidence.
And action.
Not confidence rooted in ego.
Not power used to dominate others.
But confidence rooted in knowing who you are in Christ.
Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10 says.
We are God's workmanship,
Created in Christ Jesus to do good works.
Which God prepared in advance for us to do.
You are God's workmanship.
Your circumstances do not have the authority to define your worth.
The opinions of others do not have the final word over your identity.
Your mistakes are not your master.
Your fear is not your leader.
You do not need to give your God-given responsibility away to people.
Pressure.
Disappointment.
Or past pain.
2nd Timothy chapter 1 verse 7 says God has not given us a spirit of fear,
But of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Breathe those words into your stomach.
Power.
Love.
A sound mind.
Quietly pray.
Lord,
Teach me to stand in the strength you have given me.
Help me act with courage and humility.
I release false power.
I release powerlessness.
I receive the grace to take faithful action.
Allow your stomach to soften even more.
Now bring your awareness to your ribcage.
Notice the ribs along the front of your body.
The sides of your ribs.
The ribs wrapping around toward your back.
Feel the subtle expansion as you inhale.
Feel the gentle movement inward.
As you exhale.
Notice the space between and beneath your lower ribs where your diaphragm moves with each breath.
You have been breathing all day without needing to consciously command every breath.
Let that remind you that God is sustaining you in ways you cannot always see.
Genesis chapter 2 verse 7 describes God breathing the breath of life into humanity.
Let every breath become a prayer.
Inhale.
Breath of God,
Fill me.
And exhale,
I release what I cannot control.
Inhale,
Your grace is sufficient.
Exhale,
I do not have to strive.
Allow the ribs to widen.
Let your breath reach the sides and back of your body.
Make room for life.
And make room for peace.
Make room for God to meet you here.
Bring your attention now to the center of your chest.
Notice the beating of your heart.
You do not need to change its rhythm.
Simply acknowledge that it has continued caring you through every season.
Through joy,
Through grief.
Through disappointment,
Through courage,
Through love.
Proverbs chapter 4 verse 23 says,
Above all else,
Guard your heart for everything you do flows from it.
Guarding your heart does not mean hardening it.
It means caring for what enters it,
What shapes it,
And what flows from it.
You may notice grief here,
Maybe resentment or disappointment.
Maybe fear of being hurt again,
Or a desire to feel joy more freely.
You do not need to deny what is present.
Bring it honestly before God.
Ephesians chapter 4 verses 31 to 32 teaches us to release bitterness,
Anger,
And malice,
And to become compassionate and forgiving.
Forgiveness does not mean pretending harm was acceptable.
It does not mean abandoning wisdom or boundaries.
It means releasing your right to be consumed by what happened.
Quietly pray.
Jesus,
Show me what I am still caring.
Help me release resentment without abandoning truth.
Teach me to forgive with wisdom.
Keep my heart soft without making me unsafe.
Now imagine God's light gently surrounding your heart.
Not forcing it to open.
Not demanding instant healing.
Simply holding it with tenderness.
Now start to bring your awareness to your shoulders.
Notice whether they are lifted,
Tightened,
Or braced.
Allow them to drop away from your ears.
Psalm chapter 55 verse 22 says,
Cast your cares in the Lord and he will sustain you.
Let your shoulders release the weight they were never designed to carry alone.
Bring your awareness down both arms.
From your shoulders.
Into your upper arms.
And watch the tension flow down your arms.
Towards your elbows.
Past your elbows and into your forearms.
From your forearms into your wrists.
Past your wrists,
Into your palms.
And out through your fingers.
Your arms allow you to reach,
Receive,
Embrace,
Create,
Protect,
Serve,
And let go.
Allow your palms to soften.
And quietly pray.
God.
Show me what to hold.
And show me what to release.
Teach me to give without emptying myself.
Teach me to receive without shame.
Now bring your awareness to your upper back.
The area behind your heart.
Notice any heaviness between your shoulder blades.
Allow that area to widen with your breath.
Move your awareness slowly down your spine.
From the base of your neck.
Through your upper back.
Your mid-back.
Your lower back.
Imagine each part of your spine being supported.
Psalm chapter 18 verse 2 says,
The Lord is my rock.
My fortress,
And my deliverer.
You do not have to be your own foundation.
God is your foundation.
Your strength does not come only from how much you can endure.
Sometimes strength is found in allowing yourself to be supported.
Quietly say.
God is my foundation.
I do not have to hold everything together.
Now bring your awareness to your collarbones.
Notice the space across your upper chest.
Allow this area to feel broad and open.
Bring your attention to the front.
Sides and back of your neck.
Soften your throat.
Relax your jaw.
Let your tongue rest gently inside your mouth.
The neck connects the heart.
And the mind.
It also supports your voice and expression.
You may have learned to silence yourself.
To keep the peace.
You may have spoken from fear rather than truth.
You may have confused surrendering to God with surrendering your discernment or identity to another person.
Jesus prayed in Luke chapter 22 verse 42.
Not my will,
But yours be done.
Surrendering your will to God does not mean losing yourself.
It means allowing your desires,
Plans,
And expression to come into alignment with His love and truth.
Quietly pray,
Lord,
I surrender my need to control outcomes.
Align my will with yours.
Help me speak the truth in love.
Help me live authentically before you.
Free my voice from fear.
People-pleasing,
And shame.
Allow your throat and neck to soften.
You do not have to force your voice.
You can speak from peace.
Now bring your awareness into your jaw.
Notice whether your teeth are clenched.
Allow a small space between your upper and lower teeth.
Soft in your lips.
Relax your cheeks.
Release the muscles around your eyes.
Smooth the space between your eyebrows.
And now bring your awareness to your temples.
Your forehead.
In the crown of your head.
Imagine the peaceful light of God's presence surrounding your entire mind.
Romans chapter 12 verse 2 says,
Do not conform to the pattern of this world.
But be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
You do not have to believe every thought that enters your mind.
You do not have to follow every fear.
You do not have to accept confusion as truth.
You can bring your thoughts into the light of God's word.
John chapter 8 verse 32 says,
You will know the truth.
And the truth will set you free.
Quietly pray.
Holy Spirit,
Strengthen my discernment.
Help me distinguish truth from fear.
Help me distinguish conviction from shame.
Help me distinguish wisdom from anxiety.
Expose every lie I have accepted about you,
Myself,
And my future.
I choose to live according to your truth.
Allow your thoughts to slow.
You do not need to solve everything right now.
You only need to remain present.
Now.
Bring your awareness to your entire body at once.
Your feet.
Your legs.
Your hips.
Your abdomen.
Your ribs and breath.
Your heart.
You're back.
Your arms and hands.
Your throat.
Your face.
Your mind.
Imagine the gentle light of God's presence flowing through your whole body.
From the crown of your head to the soles of your feet.
Psalm chapter 139.
Reminds us.
That there is nowhere we can go beyond God's presence.
You are fully seen,
Fully known,
And deeply loved.
Take a slow breath in.
And gently breathe out.
And let your whole body hear these words.
You are safe in the presence of God.
You are not abandoned.
You are not without purpose.
You do not have to earn love through performance.
You can release what is not yours to carry.
You can become strong without becoming hard.
You can remain soft without abandoning wisdom.
You can surrender without disappearing.
You can be led by the Holy Spirit.
Without disconnecting from the body God created.
Heavenly Father.
Thank you for meeting me here.
Thank you for the body you have given me and for the wisdom it carries.
Forgive me for the times I have ignored.
Criticized,
Punished,
Or disconnected from my body.
Teach me to care for it as a temple of your spirit.
Help me walk in peace without avoiding truth.
Help me forgive without losing discernment.
Help me surrender without giving away the responsibility you have entrusted to me.
Renew my mind.
Strengthen my heart.
Guide my steps.
Purify my desires.
Restore my joy.
Let my body,
Mind,
And heart and spirit come into greater alignment with you.
May I leave this time more aware of your presence and more anchored in who you created me to be.
In Jesus' name.
Amen.
Now,
Take one more final deep breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Begin to notice the surface supporting you.
You can gently move your fingers.
Move your toes.
Roll your shoulders if that feels comfortable.
And when you are ready.
Slowly open your eyes.
And remember to carry this piece with you as you return to your day.
My hope is that you carry a little more peace.
Clarity.
Connection.
And intention with you into whatever comes next.
Remember.
Becoming the person God created you to be isn't something you arrive at one day.
It's a daily practice of reconnecting,
Realigning,
And choosing how you want to show up.
Until next time.
Keep growing.
Keep becoming.
And keep rising.
