I am loving awareness.
Begin by settling into a comfortable position,
Allowing the body to be supported and at ease.
The spine naturally upright,
The hands resting gently,
The face soft,
The eyes closed,
And bring your attention to the simple rhythm of the breath,
Noticing the inhale as it enters,
The exhale as it leaves,
Without trying to change anything,
Just allowing the breath to breathe itself.
Feel the body arriving into stillness,
Arriving into silence,
Arriving into presence.
Notice how the breath moves within the vast spaciousness of the body,
How each inhale opens into the field of awareness,
And each exhale dissolves into quiet stillness.
Allow the mind to slow,
Not by force,
But by resting,
As if floating upon a gentle ocean of silence.
Sense that beneath every thought,
Beneath every sensation,
There is already a deep stillness,
Already a quiet presence that has always been here.
Allow yourself to rest as that presence.
Feel the body breathing,
Feel sensations appearing and disappearing within the spaciousness of awareness,
Like clouds drifting across the endless sky,
Noticing how sounds arise within the field,
How sensations arise within the field,
How thoughts arise within the field,
And yet the field itself remains unchanged,
Open,
Spaciousness,
Opening into spaciousness,
More and more,
And into stillness.
And begin to sense that you're not merely the body,
Not merely the thoughts,
But the awareness in which all experiences appear.
Rest as that awareness,
As loving awareness,
Silently and gently.
Introduce the recognition,
I am loving awareness.
Not as a statement to believe,
But as a truth to feel,
I am loving awareness.
Feel how this recognition softens the heart,
How it expands the sense of presence,
How it invites the mind to dissolve into silence.
Allow the words to fade into feeling,
Allow the feeling to dissolve into stillness.
Notice the spaciousness around the body,
And the spaciousness within the body,
And sense that there is no boundary between the two.
The inner and outer dissolve into one seamless field.
Rest in that field,
The field of awareness,
The field of loving presence.
Allow thoughts to come and go,
Like ripples across a vast lake of stillness.
You do not need to follow them,
You do not need to resist them,
Simply notice that they arise within silence,
And return to silence.
Feel the heart area gently expanding with warmth,
As if the breath itself carries kindness,
Compassion,
And acceptance into every cell.
Sense that loving awareness is not something you create,
But something you uncover,
Something that is always here beneath the noise,
Beneath the movement.
Allow the body to feel held within the field of presence,
As if you're floating in the vast ocean of spaciousness,
Supported by silence,
Held by presence,
Embraced by stillness.
Notice how the breath moves effortlessly within this field,
How life breathes you,
How presence and awareness holds you.
Gently you return again to the simple recognition,
The simple recognition,
Loving awareness.
Allow these words to echo softly within the spaciousness of your being,
Not as a repetition,
But as a remembrance,
Remembrance of what has always been true.
Feel the sense of being,
The simple presence of existence,
Before any label,
Before any story.
Just being,
Just presence,
Just awareness.
Notice that silence is not empty,
But full,
Full of life,
Full of potential,
Full of peace.
Rest deeper into that silence.
Feel how spaciousness opens in all directions,
Above,
Below,
Within and beyond.
A limitless field of awareness,
Infinite and still.
Allow the body to dissolve into this spaciousness,
As if boundaries soft and boundaries fade.
Notice that sensations continue to arise,
Yet they float within stillness,
Continuing to soften,
Continuing to fade.
Supported by presence,
Even emotions,
If they arise,
Are welcomed into the field,
Held in loving awareness,
Without judgment,
Without resistance.
Feel how loving awareness includes everything,
Nothing is outside the field,
Everything belongs,
Everything is allowed.
Rest as the witness,
The silent presence that sees all things come and go.
Notice the gentle hum of life unfolding within stillness.
Notice the quiet aliveness of the present moment.
Feel the spaciousness behind the breath,
The spaciousness behind the thoughts,
The spaciousness behind all sensations.
A vast open field of being.
Sense how stillness is always here,
Even when movement occurs,
Like the depths of the ocean remaining calm beneath the surface waves.
Allow yourself to sink into those depths,
Into silence,
Into stillness,
Into presence.
Feel how awareness itself is loving,
Not as an effort,
But as its natural quality.
Loving awareness holds every sensation with kindness,
Every thought with gentleness,
Even distractions are welcomed,
They're seen and released back into spaciousness.
Return again to the gentle recognition,
I am loving awareness.
Feel how this recognition expands into the heart,
Into the body,
Into the space around you,
Until everything appears within one unified field,
The field of presence,
The field of stillness.
Allow time to fade into the background,
Resting only in this moment,
This presence.
Notice how silence deepens as you remain here,
How spaciousness becomes more familiar,
How stillness becomes your home.
Feel that you're not reaching for stillness,
You are remembering it,
You are resting as it.
You are the field in which all stillness is,
You are remembering it,
You are resting in it,
You are the field in which all experiences arise and dissolve.
Stay here,
Resting,
Breathing,
Allowing.
Feel the simplicity of being,
The quiet joy of presence,
The peace of spacious awareness.
Sense the body is light,
Relaxed,
Floating within silence.
Feel how each breath deepens your connection to stillness,
How each exhale releases any remaining effort,
I am loving awareness.
Allow yourself to trust this field,
Trust the presence that holds you,
Trust the stillness that supports you,
Resting as loving awareness.
As silence,
As spaciousness.
As this meditation begins to draw toward completion,
Gently bring attention back to the sensation of the breath,
Still resting in the field,
Still resting in presence.
Begin to notice the weight of the body,
The contact with the ground or the chair,
And the subtle sounds around you,
And yet you remain rooted in stillness,
Continuing to breathe deeply.
Feeling gratitude in your heart space,
For this time of resting in silence,
Feeling gratitude for the recognition of loving awareness.
And as you move on with your day,
You continue to carry this spaciousness,
And this presence,
And this stillness.
Remembering always,
You are the field of loving awareness,
In which all of life appears.
