Oftentimes, we get so caught up in all the challenges in our lives, we don't even realize the "hidden treasure" of our soul's own gladness. Let yourself feel the warmth of your intrinsic goodness and boundless love!

Hey,

It's Rick Isensee,

And this is the title poem from my collection,

You Are the Beloved.

Oh sweet dove,

Why such sadness?

Don't you realize all the love brimming over the rim of your heart is your soul's own gladness?

Oh precious pearl,

Concealed in gloom,

So unaware of your hidden treasure,

If only you could see yourself as I perceive you,

Your sweet soul,

Your radiant smile,

Your tender heart beyond all measure.

May the sun,

The moon,

And the stars above eliminate your boundless love.
