Hi friend,

Thank you for being here.

Go ahead and get yourself into a comfortable position,

One where you feel like you can remain as still and motionless as possible,

Just resting and relaxing.

And once you're in that position,

Go ahead and close your eyes,

And just steady your breathing however that feels comfortable for you.

Once upon a time,

In a faraway land,

Where the mountains touched the sky and rivers whispered secrets to the trees,

There was a hidden garden.

It wasn't a garden filled with ordinary flowers.

No,

This was a garden of stars.

Tiny,

Glowing specks scattered across the earth,

Growing from the softest of soils.

At night,

When the world fell into a quiet slumber,

The stars would bloom,

Their light gentle and warm,

Casting a peaceful glow that wrapped the world in calm.

In this garden,

There was a path.

It was a narrow,

Winding trail lined with soft moss,

And it led to a small stone bench under a great,

Weeping willow.

On that bench sat a traveler.

A wanderer,

If you will.

One who had been on a long journey across the lands,

Seeking peace for their restless heart.

The traveler was tired having walked far and long,

But the moment they stepped into the garden,

They felt a wave of tranquility wash over them.

The stars,

Though small,

Seemed to whisper words of comfort,

Like the sound of a soft lullaby.

Rest,

Dear traveler,

They seemed to say.

You are home.

The wanderer sat on the bench,

Closing their eyes for the first time in what felt like many days.

The air was cool and sweet,

And the soft hum of the stars made them feel as though they were part of something much,

Much bigger.

Something eternal.

The soft glow of the stars bathed the traveler's face in a gentle light,

Like the warmth of a safe embrace.

As the wanderer breathed in the stillness of the night,

The stars began to fade into the sky above,

Each one rising slowly behind the lids of your eyes.

You see each star start to slowly rise,

Like a dream slipping gently into the horizon.

The sky deepening into the darkest shades of indigo,

And the moon,

Full and bright,

Reflecting its light on the path ahead.

The wanderer,

Just like you,

Felt their heart lighten,

Their thoughts grow quiet,

And their worries just drift away.

Just like you feel now,

Here in this beautiful,

Peaceful garden.

You feel your body shift under the stars.

Maybe it feels heavier,

Maybe it feels lighter,

But it feels safe and relaxed in this space.

Starting from your toes,

This peaceful and relaxed feeling starts to grow,

All the way from the tips of your toes to the tops of your feet,

Moving up through the ankles to the shins and the calves,

Up through your knees.

That's it.

Feeling your body relax even more under those beautiful,

Peaceful stars.

The feeling of relaxation continuing to spread up through your thighs and your hips,

To the small of your back and your abdomen.

Taking a nice,

Deep breath in,

And relaxing all of your muscles as you release your breath,

Letting go of everything that no longer serves you.

Good job.

And letting that feeling of deep relaxation continue to spread up through your back and your chest,

Letting your lungs take another deep breath in,

As all the muscles around them continue to relax and out.

Relaxation continuing to spread up through your shoulders and neck,

Letting go of all of that tension,

Continuing to relax up through the head and the face,

And letting those jaw muscles go,

Just letting them relax,

Just like that.

Maybe your lips part,

And that's okay.

Feeling your tongue as it settles into your mouth.

Breathing nice and steady and comfortable as your body sinks deeper and deeper into relaxation.

That's it.

In this garden of stars,

There is no rush.

Time moves slowly,

As though the world agrees to let you rest,

As you accept this beautiful,

Safe,

Peaceful state of rest.

Here under the great,

Weeping willow,

Finding a peace that may have eluded you for so long,

Knowing that no matter where your journey might take you next,

You can always return to this place,

This quiet,

Beautiful,

Safe,

Sanctuary of stars.

And so,

In the quiet of the night,

With the stars as your blanket,

And the moon as your guardian,

You,

Dear traveler,

Drift into a deep,

Peaceful sleep,

And all is well.

May your heart find great peace tonight.

Good night.
