Welcome.
Today's mindfulness practice is designed to help you settle your nervous system,
Stop pacing your mental cage,
And surrender to divine timing.
Find a comfortable,
Supported position.
You can sit in a chair or lie down and let your eyes close or soften your gaze toward the floor.
Bring your awareness directly into your chest.
This is where we hold the urge to fix,
Force,
And control.
This is where the tension lives when we're running out of patience.
If it feels right for you,
You can place your hand on your chest.
And as you do,
Just notice the rhythm of your breath and your body.
Maybe notice your shoulders.
Using any tension.
And take a deep,
Deliberate breath in through the nose.
Filling the lungs and expanding the ribcage.
And then exhale slowly through the mouth.
Dropping your shoulders just a bit more.
You'll feel a physical loosening in your heart center.
Allow your chest to soften.
And mentally give yourself permission to drop the armor around your heart and your chest area.
Emergency is over and you don't need to fight this moment.
Acknowledge the invisible cage.
Notice any urgent,
Looping thoughts about your life right now.
Are you mentally pacing or are you stressing over a timeline waiting for a breakthrough or panicking that you aren't healing fast enough?
Say to yourself,
Ah,
There's the habit of urgency.
My mind is trying to protect me by trying to force a result.
And like Mohini the tiger,
Your mind's just doing what it's always done to survive.
So thank your nervous system for trying to keep you safe.
But realize that you no longer need to pace.
See the 12x12 foot boundary lines around you,
Fading into the dirt.
Lift your internal gaze and look out at the expansive wide open landscape in front of you.
Notice that it's fast,
Green,
And quiet.
And imagine that,
The caged doors.
Are dissolving completely.
And as you do,
Realize that the open space,
The open wide landscape in front of you.
Notice that it's safe.
You don't need to know the entire layout of this new habitat.
You only need to be here.
Right here,
Right now.
You can repeat these grounding phrases silently to yourself.
Matching them to the steady rhythm of your breath.
Inhaling,
I am exactly where I need to be.
Exhaling,
I release the need to control the clock.
Inhaling,
The universe is working in my favor.
Exhaling,
I step outside my old boundaries.
We can repeat it again.
I'm exactly where I need to be.
I release the need to control the clock.
The universe is working in my favor.
I step outside my old boundaries.
And now,
Let go of all effort.
Stop trying to manifest.
Stop trying to heal.
Stop trying to figure it all out.
And allow yourself to simply sit in the open space of the present moment.
Trust that the delay is not a denial.
Trust that you're being prepared for the freedom that you asked for.
And when you stop frantic pacing,
You open up the energetic space to actually receive what is coming to you.
Take one final deep breath into your softened chest.
Exhale fully,
Letting go of the tight grip of control.
And when you're ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
And slowly open your eyes,
Coming back to the room and the space around you.
Thank you for your practice today.
Thank you so much for being here.
