The boat. Still afloat, Barely seen, I drift towards distant shores, For my love is waiting there. This heart awakens and I wait. I wait and sit with this uncertainty. I pray, I hope, I bleed. The wounds reopen, The heart wounds. What is this love that cracks me open? Is it the love of God or the love of a man? There are tender parts that need to reintegrate for wholeness. Will you wait, My love? Will my heart heal? I won't believe these fears that hold me back. Still afloat, Barely seen, I drift towards your shores, Alone in this boat. My friend, I hope to talk with you again. If hearts wait, If love speaks, And if forgiveness is yours, Our hearts are the same, And yes, Love rises.
