This is the story of Fernanda and the Fairy Toad King.

Good day.

Thanks for joining in a story time.

This is the story of a woodland fairy named Fernanda.

Settle in and rest for a while.

Together,

We will turn the pages of the storybook.

Close your eyes and imagine a forest deep and lush.

We will go on a forest walk together with Fernanda.

Get ready.

Fernanda was a sweet yet mischievous fairy who loved to go on adventures.

One day,

While Mama Fairy was mending and Papa Fairy was chopping wood,

Fernanda asked Mommy if she could play before dinner.

Fernanda,

Said Mama.

You may play.

However,

When it is time for dinner,

You must hurry home.

Fernanda agreed and set off down the forest trail while singing a sweet song.

Turn the page.

This was a song that Mama Fairy heard her sing over and over.

And today,

Mama laughed while she heard her singing it,

Saying,

My sweet Fernanda,

I wonder what adventures she will go on today.

Fernanda walked and walked and sang while passing several forest creatures.

Some were big and some were small.

She skipped stones near the brook and climbed trees.

And then she walked and walked until she came to a clearing and a bog where she saw the fairy toad king.

Greetings,

Fernanda.

How do you do?

Oh,

Fernanda,

How do you do,

Sang the king.

Fernanda bowed and said,

I'm well,

Your Highness.

I'm off on an adventure today.

Turn the page.

What are you in search of?

Asked the fairy king.

Oh,

I'm looking for the finest leaves for my storybook.

Come with me,

Said the king,

And he waved his hand and a golden tree appeared.

Here,

Fernanda,

You can pick some golden leaves,

But you must share all but one with the human people.

Fernanda agreed and picked ten golden leaves.

And then she heard her mama calling.

Fernanda,

Fernanda,

Dinner is here.

Go quick,

Said the king.

I can take you there.

Hop on my back.

So Fernanda jumped on the fairy toad king's back and he magically hopped through the forest.

Turn the page.

Through the forest,

They hopped until they arrived at Fernanda's home.

Fernanda hopped off.

Don't forget,

You can't keep only one leaf,

Fernanda,

And the rest you give to the people.

Fernanda nodded and together with her mother,

They made plans to journey to the edge of the forest where the human people lived.

Now,

This,

My dears,

Is another story.

It is time for you to eat.

Wash and prepare for bed.

Sweet dreams call.

Sweet dreams call,

Dear friends.

Thank you for joining on this adventurous story.
