We come into this world as luminous,

Heart-centered beings,

In tune with our intuition and our emotions,

However many of us are taught to ignore our feelings,

To ignore our intuition,

And to ignore the wisdom within our hearts.

And thusly,

We end up spending a lot of our lives living in our heads.

The mind is a powerful tool,

But it is just that,

A tool.

This practice will help you drop into your heart,

So that you can function and live your life from that place,

From the seat of the heart.

And thusly,

Your mind can be used as a tool,

Instead of the captain of the ship,

Closing your eyes,

Getting comfortable.

You can do this practice lying down or sitting,

I prefer sitting,

And as you begin to slow down your breath,

And as you breathe,

I want you to imagine your energy field,

And as you breathe,

I want you to imagine that all of your consciousness lies in a giant bubble surrounding your head,

Noticing the color of this bubble of energy,

Notice it swirling and whirling,

Noticing its size,

And with your intention and your breath,

I would like you to slowly start to shrink this ball of energy.

As you inhale,

You can imagine that you're sucking the air out of this bubble,

As you inhale,

You can imagine this bubble starting to shrink,

The energy within it becoming concentrated.

As this ball slowly shrinks,

It becomes heavier,

Until it's the size of a beach ball surrounding your head,

Shrinking down to the size of a basketball just a little bigger than your head,

And as you breathe in and pull this energy in,

It becomes the size of your head.

Notice the charge of energy that is present in your head at this moment.

As you bring this energy,

Small or still,

Into the center of your head,

Down to the size of a tennis ball,

And seeing if you can get it to be the size of a marble floating there in the center of your head,

Deep exhale,

Releasing this ball down through your brain stem,

Down into your throat,

Into your chest,

Into the center of your chest,

Until this ball of energy rests at the center of your heart chakra,

And expanding that light now,

Like a golden sun expanding in your heart,

As this sun helps to burn up anything,

As you honor,

And coming into a place of deep,

Deep gratitude for your heart,

Down through your grounding cord,

Down into mother,

And now as you breathe in,

Receiving her love,

To be your guiding force.
