Vision For A New Earth

In troubling times, it can be easier to focus on destruction than creation, but we must hold the vision for a better world. This meditation guides the listener in breathing life into the beautiful version of planet Earth that calls to them. It's also complemented by a custom track composed by my 12-year-old son.

Close your eyes. Begin to deepen your breath. Settle into the support of the earth underneath you. Let's take a deep breath together. In through the nose. And out through the mouth. And in through the nose. Breathing out through the mouth, Releasing everything you're ready to let go. One more. In through the nose. And out, Letting go. As you bring your attention to your body. The place that you're sitting on planet earth. Spring our hands to rest. Palms facing upward. Open to receive. Now let's visualize. That you have the planet earth. In each of your hands. Two versions. One in your left. And the other in your right. Between these two hands. That cold. Alternative universes within them. Visualize an infinite number of earth realities. Spanning out between them. As if you hold a rainbow of earthly possibilities. Between your poems. Take a moment. To hold them all. To connect with the realm. Of infinite possibility. And I now invite you to notice. If there is one. Version. Of the planet earth. That calls to you. From the infinite number. The infinite versions. The infinite realm of possibility. What vision of earth. Calls to you. Which of these possibilities. Is asking to be held. By your hands. Your heart. Your energetic signature. Take a moment. To sit with this earth. This new vision. Of what can be. And now. Bringing both of your hands to rest. On top of your heart. Bring this vision. Of a new earth. Into your heart center. Plant it. Like a seed. Full of hope. Possibility. Truth. See this earth wrapped. In love. See the light. Within your heart. Amplifying. With every in breath. Becoming brighter. Breathing your vision. Of a new. And peaceful planet. Breathing in. Welcome more love. Breathing out release any blockages inside of your heart. Breathing in compassion. Breathing out. Judgment. Breathing in unity. Breathing out separation. Breathing in love. And breathing out. And with love is your intention. Bring your hands. To prayer position in front of your heart. Breathing your head. And ceiling in the contribution that you have made. To planet earth here today. In gratitude. For mother earth. We breathe our intentions to life with the word. And so it is.
