Close your eyes and settle into your seat.
Prepare to connect with and open your creativity in preparation for the beautiful experience that we are ready to share.
Breathe deeply,
Expanding the space inside your chest.
Let's space right by your heart.
And let's do this a few more times.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Lengthening your breath.
Inviting in space.
Now I invite you to visualize a time in your childhood when you remember engaging with the world freely,
With confidence,
And even with creativity.
With no self-consciousness,
Without doubt.
Maybe you remember making a mud pie,
Coloring,
Cooking,
Building Legos,
Painting.
As you connect with that moment in time,
Either with a concrete memory or just with the feelings that you recall from your childhood,
Take notice of how old you are.
Maybe you're 12 or 6,
Or perhaps you must think back as far as to your 3-year-old self to find a time when you felt completely free to explore and express yourself creatively.
Find a moment with this beautiful child.
Watch her.
What is she doing?
How does she feel?
And what is it that she wants to hear most right now,
In this moment?
Is it.
.
.
You are talented.
You are brilliant.
You are creative.
You are inventive.
You are perfect,
Just as you are.
Does she want you to encourage her?
To take her work and frame it on the wall?
Take a picture of it to keep forever?
Take a moment to feel into what will make her heart swell with pride?
And give her that gift?
And now,
Visualize wrapping your arms around her.
Show her that she is perfectly worthy.
And receive in return the message that you are perfectly worthy now.
Holding her in your arms,
Invite her to climb right into your heart space.
Invite her to stay there for a while or forever so that she can feel safe,
Loved,
And appreciated for her beautiful,
Untethered,
Childlike spirit.
And give gratitude for reunion with this piece of yourself.
Set the intention to move forward with unconditional love,
Self-acceptance,
And curious exploration throughout this day.
Today,
There is no right or wrong way of doing things.
Only divine perfection and connection to all moments,
To ourselves,
And to this blessed tribe.
And so it is.
