What does it mean to be caring for oneself?
We can begin by paying attention to the body.
What does the body need to feel cared for,
To feel loved?
We can also ask the mind.
What does the mind need to feel cared for and to feel loved?
What does the heart need to feel cared for and to feel loved?
Now that we're at the heart,
We might also find that the heart could use a hug or contact or a beautiful nature scene.
Sometimes the heart involves the body and the mind,
A good conversation.
It's okay if different parts of oneself need something in combination.
There could be a need that meets the body and the mind and the heart in a place of comfort.

We can also ask the spirit.
What does the spirit need to feel cared for and loved?
And now as a whole being,
One can find what is the self-care for the whole being?
What might be needed for the whole person,
The whole human being?
And now make a little dedication to yourself.
I will make one to myself too.
We can dedicate an act of kindness to ourselves.
What will we do that's self-caring today?
How will we love ourselves today?
