Welcome to this guided meditation to cultivate a deep sense of gratitude for all the blessings in your life.
Gratitude is an attitude of appreciation and thankfulness for all the good that we have in our lives.
It's about noticing what's going well despite any challenges we may be facing.
When we tune into gratitude it helps to elevate our mood and make us feel more connected to ourselves and the people,
Situations and environment around us.
It helps us build our resilience,
Improves our well-being and even gives your immune system a boost.
Let's begin by getting into a comfortable seated position.
Your back straight,
Feeling relaxed and alert,
Somewhere you ideally won't be disturbed or distracted.
And as you get settled,
Start to feel the weight of your body connecting to the surface beneath you,
Supporting you and grounding you to the earth.
And now gently close your eyes or lower your gaze,
Bringing your awareness to your breath.
Notice the sensations of breathing as you inhale and exhale the breath.
Do you notice your mind wandering?
That's okay.
Simply bring your attention gently to relaxation,
Any tension or tightness.
Now take a deep breath into your heart center.
Each breath in,
Breathe in the feeling of gratitude and appreciation for being here today,
For this wonderful moment of stillness that you've gifted yourself with,
For this breath and life force energy that oxygenates your body,
For this amazing heart that beats to its own rhythm each and every day,
Keeping you alive and say,
I am deeply grateful for this day.
I am grateful for my health and I'm grateful for everything I have in my life.
I'm grateful for my body and each one of my senses that allows me to experience and enjoy the world around me,
For my eyes that allow me to see my nose,
That allows me to smell my ears that allow me to hear my tongue,
That allows me to taste and enjoy different flavors and sensations.
My sense of touch that allows me to feel,
Just let that feeling of gratitude sink deeply into your body.
I'm grateful for all my loved ones,
My friends and family members,
And I send out warm and loving energy to each and every one of my loved ones as I picture them in my mind's eye,
Each of them for being in my life.
I'm grateful for all of my memories and all the smiles and the laughter that we've shared together,
Everything to where I am today,
Including the challenges which have helped me to grow all the blessings in my life and all the little things I take for granted every day,
Everything coming my way today.
And I'm grateful to be alive,
Knowing I'm here for a reason and my existence on this earth is a blessing to all those around me.

And as you linger in these final moments of gratitude,
Really feel the sensation wash over you,
Allowing your heart to expand as this amazing feeling sinks into every part of your body and soul.
And when you're ready,
Bring your attention back into the space and reorient yourself to the room.

Letting go of any expectations for the day ahead.
And with a big beaming smile,
