Welcome to this guided evening gratitude meditation.

Get yourself comfortable either laying down or seated with your back upright.

Just allow your body to relax.

Start by taking a few slow gentle breaths,

Drawing in peace and calm and allowing your body and mind to gradually settle.

And with every exhale release any stress,

Tension,

Worry or anxiety from the day.

And as you continue to take a few gentle breaths,

Feel your body relaxing more and more with each breath.

And as you continue to breathe,

Imagine your body being bathed in a warm and loving light,

Knowing you are safe and protected in this moment.

And as you enjoy this feeling of warmth and love embracing you,

Bring yourself to a place in your mind where you feel most at peace.

Maybe you're in a beautiful garden or field surrounded by beautiful flowers or on a beach listening to the gentle sounds of the waves.

And when you're in this peaceful place,

Take in all the sights and sounds and sensations all around you,

Really enjoying this special place,

Knowing you can return to it at any time.

And as you continue to enjoy this moment,

You notice a large screen just ahead.

And as you walk towards this screen,

Imagine you're watching the past 24 hours of your day playing out on a giant movie screen in front of you,

Watching the events unfold without any judgment.

And as you replay your day,

Bring to mind all the events,

People and places you encountered,

Giving thanks for all your blessings.

Who were you grateful for today?

What made you smile?

How did you feel?

What are you proud of?

What did you learn?

And as you acknowledge all the things that you're grateful for today,

Allow this feeling of gratitude to fill your heart and expand into a warm bubble of gratitude flowing all around you.

And from this place,

Bring to mind a moment that was challenging or difficult for you today and allow yourself to let this go,

Trusting that this matter will be resolved in the best possible way.

Remembering that you are strong,

You are brave,

You are capable and you are worthy of overcoming any obstacles that are thrown your way.

Remembering that you've survived every difficulty that you've experienced that has got you to where you are today.

And with this knowing,

Take a few deep breaths of gratitude,

Releasing the events of the day and preparing yourself for a peaceful night's sleep,

Knowing that you are so,

So blessed with love and gratitude.

Good night.
