Hi friends,
Welcome to this meditation that is designed to help you restore and reconnect to your own inner light.
Taking a moment to settle into the space that you're in,
Whether that's leaning back into the chair or lying down,
Getting as comfortable as you can be,
Feeling fully supported.
When you're ready,
You can allow your eyes to close,
Beginning to turn inward.
Connect to the in and out flow of your own breath.
Every inhalation feeling more complete and full and every exhalation emptying even more.
Just follow the breath and as you follow the breath,
Observe how the body is responding to the fact that you're breathing.
Perhaps watching the rise and fall of your shoulders or movement and the chest or abdomen.
Just observe.
Continuing to make the breath in and out as full and complete as possible.
Staying with your awareness of your body and at the same time with every exhalation feeling the body relax a little bit more.
Allowing the body to sink down into the pull of gravity down towards the earth.
Every exhalation clears away tension,
Stress,
Worry,
Heaviness,
Releases every time you exhale.
And every time you inhale,
You're bringing into the body more clarity,
More energy,
More prana shakti.
Expanding your awareness so that as you inhale you feel the breath flowing into the body and filling the body from the inside up to the crown of the head down the hollow tubes of the arms and legs through the whole torso.
And as you exhale continuing to soften and open.
Inhaling,
Filling with prana,
Light,
Life force.
Exhaling and softening.
Opening and receiving the light,
The life,
The energy that is always there.
A few more times,
Breathing in light and life into the whole inner space of the body.
And as you exhale it's simply softening and receiving like a sponge.
Coming to a place where it feels as if the light touches the outer boundaries of the body,
Your skin.
And beginning to blur that boundary between your body and the outside world so that there's a sense of blending with the light inside to the light outside.
The life inside to the life outside.
And resting in,
Abiding in,
The spacious light-filled,
Light-filled present moment awareness.
Stabilizing your consciousness with the light that is within you and all around you.
Spend your next few breaths focused on stabilizing the light within you to the light all around you.
Observing as you do this any feelings,
Sensations,
Images,
Insights that arise naturally.
Continue to breathe and stabilize even further so it feels even more natural and effortless.
Expanding your sense of awareness beyond just the field around you into the source of light.
The source of light at the center of it all.
Merging your sense of light with the source of light of all that is.
Giving and receiving at the same time.
Enjoy the reciprocity of this connection.
And as you do this practice,
My light is merging with yours and all those who practice this meditation are merging and amplifying the quality of light right here on this planet.
May it grow ever brighter and stronger,
Clarifying all that it touches,
Clarifying,
Purifying,
Uplifting.
And with your next few breaths,
Bringing your awareness back to just your body in your space.
Sweeping awareness from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet.
The global awareness of just your body and your space filled with light and life.
Observing your mood in this moment,
The quality of your being right now after this short practice of reconnection.
Breathing life into your fingers and toes.
Swallowing,
Sighing,
Feeling your body in your space.
And as you shift into the rest of your day,
Feeling a sense of retained connection to the source of light within us all and around us all.
May you carry it forward into every event and activity and interaction of your day.
As you're ready,
Blinking your eyes open,
Observing the space around you and the quality of light in the space that you're in.
