Lying in bed,
Get yourself really comfortable and nestle your head down into your pillows,
Have your hands where you like.
Just allow your eyes to begin to close and feel free with your eyes closed to blink them three times to deepen and soften into rest.
And then with your eyes closed what I want you to do is to see your body as hollow,
Your body as hollow,
Filled with earth.
So feeling the weight of that,
Feeling how your body gently presses into the mattress underneath you.
Then let the earth dissolve and instead of earth,
Imagine your body filled with water.
And again just feeling the heaviness,
The weight of this in your body and in your mind.
And let the water slowly dissolve.
And let the water slowly dissolve.
And replacing it with flames,
Gentle flickering flames,
Just warming you.
Eyes closing even more deeply,
Softly,
Softening down,
Down and down.
And allow the flames to dissolve to nothing,
Instead a gentle breeze blowing through your body,
Allowing the breeze to disperse,
To disappear to a whisper and then nothing,
Seeing yourself as hollow.
And focusing on these elements,
Whispering,
Softening,
Deepening and then sleeping.
