Notice your body relaxing more and more.
Feel your shoulders relax.

Take nice steady breaths.
Just allow your body to relax.

In your mind's eye,
You notice a butterfly hovering just ahead of you.
It's a beautiful butterfly with gorgeous colours.
You sense that the butterfly wants you to follow it.
So you start walking towards it.
The butterfly leads you along a path which seems to take you to a brick wall that you cannot see over or around.
As you continue following the butterfly,
You notice a wooden door set into the brick wall.
You carefully open the door and the glow of sunshine dazzles you.
The butterfly flies through the doorway just as your vision adjusts to the bright sunshine.
There before you,
You see the most beautiful garden filled with the most colourful flowers of all shapes and sizes.
You walk into the garden and follow the butterfly as it flies from flower to flower.
The aroma of the flowers is amazing and lifts your spirits.
You feel like you are walking on air and you enjoy the beauty that feeds your eyes.
As you continue walking,
You suddenly realise that the butterfly has disappeared.
You look around for it and your eyes are drawn to a flower bed filled with a flower which has so much meaning to you,
A flower which reminds you of someone.
You walk towards this flower bed and take in the beauty of this special flower.
Suddenly you hear someone calling your name.
You glance to your left and you see that special person you were just thinking of sitting on a bench.
You walk over and sit beside them.
And here you take a few moments to chat with this special person.

It is now time to say goodbye.
But know that you can connect with this person any time you think of this particular flower.
In front of you the butterfly reappears and leads you out of the garden and through the wooden door.
You close the door behind you and continue back along the path.
It's now time to come back to this room.
It's time to be aware of your body.
You're aware of my voice.
You're aware of the noises in the room.
You're aware of your hands and your arms,
Your legs and your feet.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
