This is a guided meditation for you and your partner.
This meditation will help you to connect to yourself and find connection with your partner.
For every time that you're doing this meditation together,
You're tying your bonds stronger and stronger,
Finding yourself with more and more love for each other and for yourself as part of this relationship.
Start by being seated in front of each other and find a posture that is relaxing and comfortable for you.
Now close your eyes and together we take three deep breaths to get centered,
Starting with an exhalation and inhaling and letting go,
Exhaling,
Releasing tensions and letting go of the past.
Inhaling and letting go,
Relaxing shoulders and jaws and inhaling,
Letting go,
Relaxing into the present.
And now just let your breath flow naturally.
Right now there is nothing that you need to do or anything you need to take care of.
Right now you're present with the sensations happening in your body,
The sound moving around in the room or wherever you are.
If there are any emotions in your body,
Let those be present and start to pay attention to your breath,
Feeling the inhale and expansion of your chest and stomach,
The exhale contraction.
You might feel the cold air entering your nostrils and warmer air coming out.
If there is any tension in your body,
Let the outgoing breath be part of relaxing those tensions.
So as an exhalation is happening,
You can feel that your jaws are relaxing,
That your shoulders are relaxing,
That your face,
The muscles between your eyebrows are relaxing,
That you're so relaxed that if you would say a word,
You would just not be able to do it.
Now,
As you are in the full presence and relaxation of yourself,
Start focusing on the middle of your chest.
You can see if there is any emotions,
Any sensations,
Noticing your breath as the chest is expanding.
And from this place in the middle of the chest,
Open up for your partner,
Opening up for the love that you feel towards your partner.
With your eyes still closed and your body in full relaxation,
See if you can picture your partner in your mind's eye being truly happy,
Truly fulfilled with love and happiness.
And see how that picture of your partner being happy and loving,
Is affecting you.
Knowing that your partner is now doing the same for you,
Open up for receiving that love,
Open up for receiving the embrace,
The open arms,
The loving wishes.
And as you're focusing on your partner and also receiving,
See if there is anything that you wish to wish your partner for.
You might want to wish your partner love,
Freedom,
Happiness,
Safety,
Success,
Relief,
Anything that comes to your mind.
You can quietly for yourself say,
I wish you happiness,
Or I wish you freedom,
Or I wish you love.
And repeat whatever wishes that comes to you,
And see how the area in the middle of your chest is affected,
As you're wishing this towards your partner.
I wish you love.
I wish you happiness.
I wish you safety.
And now being filled with this expanding feeling of love and well-being,
That is challenged towards your partner.
See if you now can turn these wishes towards yourself.
May I be happy.
May I be safe.
Wish yourself whatever comes to mind,
And notice any changes in the space in the middle of your chest.
May I be happy.
May I be free.
May I be safe.
May I receive all the love that the world provides for me,
And open up for the love that my partner is giving towards me.
And as you feel that these wishes are sinking into you,
You can start to feel more and more ready to,
From this space of wishing yourself,
Well-being and love,
To meet and face your partner,
From this space of self-love.
Knowing that the love that I'm able to give to others is also what I'm being able to give to myself.
Knowing that we are each other's mirrors and helpers,
Serving a journey into higher love,
Higher purpose and higher service.
And as you're feeling ready,
You're opening your eyes,
Meeting your partner in silence,
Looking into these eyes,
Into another universe.
And still,
There is nothing that you have to do,
Nothing you're supposed to be.
You're sharing this sacred time of just being,
Being with each other,
Being held by effortless presence,
Being held knowing that the person in front of you is wishing you well.
And knowing that this person is working on themselves,
Expanding the love both towards you and for themselves.
Knowing that this journey is a journey of both and.
Both loving myself and loving you.
Every time that you're doing this meditation with your partner,
You're creating a stronger bond with yourself and with your partner.
And as you're doing this,
You're also of greater service towards everybody that you're in contact with.
May it be your children,
Your parents,
Your siblings or friends,
Colleagues at work.
Doing this practice together enables you to be of higher service for yourself,
Each other and the world.
And as you're continuing to practice,
You're finding yourself being more and more connected as a couple and with the world.
Ending this meditation,
You and your partner will take three breaths together.
Starting with both of you,
Exhaling and inhaling,
Exhaling with the sound and inhaling and exhaling with the sound.
And inhaling and exhaling with the sound.
