Welcome to this grounding meditation.

I'm Angie and I will be your guide.

Grounding helps center our energy and clear the frantic,

Anxious,

Or spacey feelings we may have.

We become more present so we can enjoy the experience of living instead of worrying about things we may not be able to control.

Make sure you are in a place where you won't be disturbed,

Ideally sitting with your feet on the ground.

Wherever you are,

Get really comfortable and begin to notice your breath.

Take a deep inhale in through your nose.

Exhale out through your nose,

Drawing it out.

Take another deep inhale in.

Exhaling out slowly.

And one more deep inhale in through your nose,

Drawing out your exhale completely.

Close your eyes if you haven't already.

Relax your shoulders down.

Open your heart upwards.

You may have thoughts arising,

But allow your awareness to float down into your body.

Follow your natural rhythm of breathing,

Noticing as the breath comes and goes,

Experiencing your body breathing in this moment.

As your body exhales,

Feel your body relaxing and sinking down into the earth.

Allow yourself to be supported by the ground beneath you.

Feel your breath become one with your heartbeat.

Allow your belly to expand and contract.

And turn your awareness to your upper abdomen.

Breathe into this power center of your body and feel the energy.

And as the energy builds,

See a magnificent gold light expanding and going down your body into your belly,

Down your legs,

And into your feet.

Take a moment to breathe into the bottoms of your feet where they are connecting to the ground.

Breathe and allow yourself to go deeper within.

Feel the pulse of the earth as your feet sink into the ground.

The gold light now flows out of your feet and turns into gold cords connecting your feet with the ground.

The cord goes down into the soil,

Past rocks,

Deeper and deeper,

Traveling through underground rivers and caves,

Down farther and deeper until it reaches the center of the earth.

The golden cords wrap around and become anchored to the earth's core.

Feel the pulse of the earth,

The same pulse you feel in your feet.

You feel it throughout your entire body.

Being rooted into the earth,

Feel how giving and loving the earth is.

Mother earth is there for you.

She extracts all anxious thoughts and anything you need to get rid of.

Allow them to be released,

Freeing up space to receive all of the earth's nutrients.

They are so replenishing,

So nourishing.

Even even deeper with the earth,

She gives you all of the ancient wisdom she holds.

Be open and receive.

Allow your body to soak up everything that comes to you and breathe.

Breathe and receive.

The cords begin to unwind from the core,

Drawing the earth energy up,

Pulling it up through the soil,

Back through the rivers and caves,

Up,

Up,

Until they finally reach you,

Pulling nutrients and knowledge up into your feet and up into your body.

And take a moment to thank mother earth for all that she has given you,

For all of the nourishment,

For any insights you may have been shown.

Thank her for connecting with you.

And know she is there for you whenever you need her.

She vows to take care of you as you take care of her.

Take a deep cleansing breath in and slowly exhale,

Letting it all go.

Simply bring your awareness back to the space where you are sitting and slowly move your fingers and toes.

Come back to the present feeling so refreshed,

So nourished.

You feel grounded and supported by the earth,

Taking the sense of connection with you throughout your day.

And know that any time you feel ungrounded,

You can close your eyes and remember your visual trip to the core of the earth.

And so it is.
