Why Spiritual Teachers Push Students Away

Now, With spiritual teachers and students, Sometimes the student has to take a step forward into embodying their true nature, And it can feel like walking forward on thin ice. And it's much easier to just sit and listen to the teacher endlessly repeating, Teaching, But a normal teacher will start to feel like a little plugged up if too many people are doing that around them. Avatars have endless patience, The people who are born enlightened, Because they know that you'll either do it this life or another life. But a teacher that's really walked the walk to get where they are, They're kind of like the nouveau riche, They kind of go like, Okay, You do it, Come on, Come on, Don't ask for subsidies, You do it. And you don't really need support, Support's good. But there comes a time where the students actually have to walk their walk, And then the teacher will push the student away. With great compassion inside, They might not show the compassion, But there'd be great compassion inside for the student, Because the teacher knows what this feels like. But it's such an important time, We just really have to start walking our walk, Really, If we don't want to go extinct. We all need to be braver than we thought we ever could. And then Mother Nature will settle down, And human beings will stop being so rude with each other, And we just would have a better time. But it's really the number of people who are actually walking it that counts right now. So please, With great gentleness and compassion for yourself, Do what you can to just spread a little more love and honor yourself, Honor others, And tell the truth, Compassionately as possible. But tell the truth, At least to yourself. But you know, So many of our relationships would get so much better, Really, If we told the truth. Like, You know, I worked with this woman once years ago, And she said she just wanted her mom to die, And really, You know, She just wanted some space from her mom. So she could have said to her mom, Mom, You know, I just need a bit of space. And then she wouldn't have been, You know, Polluting her psyche and hurting her mom with negative thoughts. She could have just taken her power. That's how simple it is. Just take your power, Be true to yourself, And speak as compassionately as possible, But as truthfully. Okay, You guys, I have great empathy. I know what a ride it is. Okay, Bless your hearts.
