Okay,
So we're calling on grace,
Yet again,
Stronger and stronger grace.
It's in the air you breathe.
Your whole existence is blessed with it.
Your guardian angel is sitting with you right now.
But Alma's grace is coming and it's thick,
It's thick,
Like if you remember what a sunny day felt like when you were a child,
Waking up when you're like three or four and having like a family picnic or something,
If you were lucky enough to have something like that,
And how you felt as a child,
Where you just feel that,
You know,
God is in his heaven,
All is right with the world.
And may we feel like that.
And so it is.
So I was talking about how this work,
The power of it is in its precision,
Which has come through walking through the kind of emotional upheavals and distress that you guys walk through,
And learning to keep turning to the divine.
And when you do that,
This material turns,
It's the mud of the lotus,
It turns into the lotus of awareness.
And you can even go through periods where you,
You know,
You don't,
You even lose your faith for a bit,
Doesn't matter,
Just,
You know,
Just keep walking,
Keep doing your best.
You will find the,
You know,
Alma talks about how you learn how to blow on the embers of the fire,
You blow on,
You know,
Burning something low,
And it catches this flame again.
And that happens over and over in our spiritual journey.
It happens over and over in marital relationships,
Where people fall out of love,
And they just live together,
And then it catches fire again,
And they fall in love.
So,
This is,
You know,
The world of duality,
The yin and the yang.
So,
Please be reassured,
And it's not to stay in the pain longer,
You know,
But also not to rush out of the pain,
Because it is,
It is your complexes leaving.
If you keep your focus,
You know,
If you've given your life to Alma,
Given your life to the spiritual journey,
These painful periods are removing your complexes.
You know,
If you're ambivalent,
Like if you haven't really given your life to it,
And you're trying to do,
Kind of walk in two places at once with,
You know,
Trying to get the best out of the worldly life,
And trying to get the best out of the spiritual life,
Then the pain that happens won't do much good.
Yeah,
I mean,
It won't,
It'll,
Yeah,
It won't,
It's,
It's not the mud of the lotus.
You know,
Even if people are in their egos,
They go through painful periods,
But that,
That pain doesn't really help them either.
I mean,
Over time,
It might bring sort of a wisdom,
But the thing is that your pain gets more severe,
The more intense you are in the spiritual journey,
The more severe your pain will get,
But the more,
The dramatic change it creates in you,
The more transformation,
The bigger a gift it brings.
You're,
You know,
You can have a three-month period of going through difficult,
Difficult,
You know,
Feeling,
Ah,
I'm unhappy,
My body hurts,
And three months later,
Your life has just changed dramatically.
And especially on an inward way,
It can just change so dramatically.
If you learn how to just go through these periods,
You know,
I'm going to talk about Padre Pio today,
Because he is a saint who really touched my heart,
And I know that,
You know,
All,
All traditions are saying the same thing,
And I've been sending some of you,
YouTubes about the Catholic saints,
About their experience,
Because it's helpful to people on the spiritual journey.
You know,
They talk about,
You know,
The dark night of the soul,
And how they got through it.
The reason I want to talk about Padre Pio,
Because I'm,
I'm actually not sure.
It just was like a big bulletin to talk about him,
So I have no choice.
We're talking about him.
It's like,
And Laura has said,
Interestingly,
That it's helpful sometimes for you to hear about the Christian tradition,
Because Laura's family is very Christian.
Yeah.
So,
It's all the same thing.
A lot,
Part of the reason that when I started researching him,
He's,
He's all saying the same things I'm saying.
Truly.
Yeah.
Anyway,
He was an Italian friar.
I'm sure many of you know about him,
And he was born in 1887,
And he died in 1968,
And he joined the Capuchin friars at 15,
And lived most of his life in a monastery of San Giovanni Raffando,
And he was known for many miracles.
He's one of those guys with a stigmata,
So he would lose a cup of blood a day for 50 years.
He had it in his hands,
In his feet,
And he even had a mark on his shoulder that,
That bled.
And,
You know,
Interesting,
He went through this period,
This 10-year period,
When the Catholic Church really put him through the mill,
And was doubting him,
And there were,
He was investigated,
And people were saying,
The investigators were saying that,
You know,
He was pouring this corrosive material on his feet and hands every day to build the holes,
You know,
To make the wounding,
Which is,
Can you imagine?
I mean,
Can you imagine,
You know,
You're trying to help humanity,
And you've got this bleeding going on,
And then people are telling you that it's accusing you of using corrosive material.
But anyway,
He was finally made a saint by Pope John Paul II.
So,
He emphasized the rosary prayer,
And,
You know,
The rosary has 150 beads.
I want you to see the connection,
The similarity between,
You know,
Say,
The mantra,
And then the Catholic's rosary,
And saying a repeated prayer.
It's very much similar.
It's,
You know,
Bombarding the mind endlessly with the directive to focus on the divine.
This is what works,
You guys.
The more you think about God,
Or the more you aim for the silence within,
You know,
Say your mantra,
All these things,
The faster your journey will be,
Because our minds are so distracted.
So,
If you have a really strong kind of signal telling your mind to,
You know,
Stirring your mind to the divine,
That ends up melting your mind.
It finally melts your mind,
And Premasuda has gone through this process of when the structures in your mind melt,
Which is just,
It's slightly bizarre,
Because you're losing the foundation on which you've lived your life,
But you're still,
You know,
Walking around,
Eating,
Talking to people.
It's really fascinating what happens as you proceed on the journey.
Anyway,
He emphasized the rosary.
He also emphasized weekly confessions.
He said it was like dusting a room,
And,
You know,
As I read about him,
I could feel how much,
How fully present he was.
So,
When he took,
You know,
When he took confession,
People were brought into the moment with him.
You see,
He's fully present in the moment.
So,
They moved into presence alongside him.
We feel this with Amma.
When we get a hug from her,
We're actually moving into presence.
You become present.
You feel her arms on you.
You feel the warmth.
You feel the love.
You become present,
And this,
Most of us spend,
We're living in the past and the future.
This is,
You know,
And you won't realize it till you come out of it,
And you will come out of it through surrender.
Through surrender to the truth of you,
You will move into presence,
Where you're just present in the moment.
Because,
You guys,
You know,
This future,
Past and future thing.
I'll tell you,
When you think of the past,
A lot of the times you'll feel guilt,
And when you think of the future,
A lot of the times you will feel fear.
So,
They both keep you in your ego.
Yeah.
Just understanding this can help.
You know,
Another reason why it's so futile to be focused on the past or the future.
Yeah.
Anyway,
He would,
You know,
When he took the confessions,
He would,
Sometimes he wouldn't absolve people because he didn't feel they were sincere,
Or sometimes they'd,
Or yeah,
That they weren't really doing it with their hearts,
Or sometimes he would point out sort of other things they've done that they didn't mention.
So,
He would,
You know,
He was operating from universal mind,
I assumed.
So,
When people confessed,
He would get access to their lives,
And he would see the wrongdoings,
Sometimes major wrongdoings,
And he'd say,
Well,
What about this?
And what about that?
And the person would be so shocked,
But then they would leave so relieved because they'd really got it off their chest.
So,
You know,
My feeling is when people confess to,
With Padre Pio,
That it really helped,
You know?
It wasn't just,
You know,
Confessing to a priest who maybe was thinking about something else,
And maybe you didn't love humanity the same way that Padre Pio did,
Or maybe not so close to God.
You know,
It's really the same thing with therapists.
I mean,
If you go to a therapist who's lodged in their head with exactly the same kind of wounding you've got,
It doesn't do you any good to really,
Or does you very little good to talk to them.
But if you talk to somebody who's lodged in unconditional love,
It can make a tremendous difference to you.
Yeah.
So,
He also said,
This is like,
This reminds me of Alma.
He was big on the practical application of theology,
And he really emphasized pray,
Hope,
And don't worry.
Yeah.
And he would say,
You know,
God loves you,
And God will hear you,
And God is taking care of you.
And Alma says this,
You know?
He's taking care of everything.
She knows everything.
And he directed Christians to recognize God in all things,
And above all,
To desire to do God's will.
And actually,
This is what this work is around,
Is helping you guys clear your emotional complexes so that you can do Alma's will,
So you can live the life you came here to live.
Yeah.
And it can be done even in a non-religious outlook.
You can even,
You know,
Not be sure about God,
But if you're good to humanity,
And you follow the guidance that comes,
And you're open to your perceptions,
In a way,
It doesn't matter if you believe in God or not,
In a funny way.
Yeah.
It's like,
Alma says that she has more,
She has enormous respect for good-hearted people who don't believe in God,
But they still live really good lives.
Yeah.
So,
This man had—okay,
So he,
You know,
This stigmata appeared as a fairly young man when he was about 20,
And it never got infected ever,
Although he covered it up,
Because it embarrassed him.
He felt like it,
Yeah,
Embarrassed him.
So,
He had these gifts,
So he could bilocate,
Gift of prophecy,
Miracles,
Reading of hearts,
Speaking in tongues,
Making conversions,
And it's called the odor of sanctity.
He had this,
It was this odor of violence,
A very pleasant smell of violence that exuded from the stigmata,
Which is just such a lovely thought,
Smell of violence.
Yeah,
So he,
There was a big miracle where a girl born without pupils,
Without pupils in her eyes,
Her sight was restored.
You know,
This is like Alma healing the leper,
Like these really big miracles.
You know,
There are five rules for spiritual growth.
It was weekly confession,
Daily communion,
Spiritual readings,
You know,
Meditation,
And examining of conscience.
It's all very similar to Alma.
You know,
Examining of conscience,
You pay attention to what you do and how you feel about it,
And Alma talks about,
You know,
If you review the,
At night time,
Review the day,
And,
You know,
Correct it,
Correct it,
Like either decide not to do it again,
Or,
You know,
Make amends to the person if you did something mean,
Or,
It's all very similar stuff,
You guys.
There's actually no reason to be confused about the spiritual journey.
It's very simple.
It's just whether we want to do it or not,
And if we,
If we're ambivalent about it,
We will make it very complicated.
But if we're not ambivalent about it,
It becomes very simple.
You just pray and do your best.
You know,
You think about God,
And you just do these things instinctually.
You just,
You would just always be watching yourself for,
For your behaviors,
You know.
You'd always be kind of witnessing yourself.
Yeah.
You know,
Just something funny today.
I was speaking to this woman who's spoken,
Spoken to me a lot,
And,
You know,
Just by the by,
She's in my building,
And,
And I said to her,
You know,
I,
I feel like I'm not allowed to speak when we talk.
I said,
I feel like you,
You don't want me to speak,
But you want to speak.
And I said it very gently.
And then she said,
Well,
I know what you're going to say.
So I said,
No,
It's more at the heart.
I feel like I can't bring my heart into the conversation.
And that,
That got through to her.
Yeah.
And she,
She was a bit taken aback,
But not defended,
And not hurt at all.
And at the end,
We had a real meeting of hearts.
And I was like,
Oh,
This was so sweet,
And I was so blunt.
So I think it's,
You know,
The spirit in which things are said.
And also,
I,
She's spiritually aware enough,
She's,
That I thought it was pretty safe to do this.
But anyway,
You know,
I'm always like that we,
Sometimes we just need to speak up.
But you know,
Again,
Be careful how you do it.
But lots of times we withhold,
You know,
I mean,
I could have sat there and judged her,
And sort of hated her for not letting me speak,
And having to listen to her endlessly.
You see,
We often do that.
We'll often sit there in negativity.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
That's the worst.
Okay.
So Padre Pio taught suffering was a special sign of God's love,
For it made,
Made us similar to Jesus in his suffering.
So it's like this identification with suffering,
But,
You know,
Basically is saying embrace it when it comes.
And he said that people had trouble picking up their cross,
That they didn't want to pick up the cross,
And do the suffering that God was asking them to do.
And,
You know,
Now we would like from this perspective,
I wouldn't be talking about,
You know,
To doing Jesus in suffering,
Particularly,
I'd be talking about,
You're clearing past lives,
Material,
You know,
You're clearing karma,
You're clearing where you erred in other times,
You're cleaning up the closet.
But the end result is the same.
And,
You know,
Lots of times around Amma,
People,
Especially in the old days,
You know,
When she would be hugging till two or three in the morning,
There are people who would stay every night to stay up as long as she did,
Because they didn't want her kind of suffering alone,
Really.
And the,
You know,
Big Swami,
Swamiji has talked about how Amma is crucified every day with all the darshans.
You know,
And those,
You know,
Not so long ago,
She would start at 10 and go till three,
And then start again at eight and go till two o'clock in the morning,
Or three in the morning,
Every day,
Or most days.
Yeah.
So suffering deepens you and brings meaning into your life.
And we're a little bit,
In the West,
We're a little bit phobic about suffering,
You know,
We're kind of,
We want to box it,
And we want it to go away.
But if you've got this kind of wide open that you want to,
Like,
Live the life you came here to live,
You know,
We suffer on the way of that.
But if you don't do it,
You will suffer anyway.
Like,
People who are in their ego,
Their ego gets creamed by life,
And they have nothing to fall back on.
So they just keep repeating the patterns and making it worse.
Like,
You know,
Anybody who reads the Christmas Carol,
And Marley's chains from the ghost of,
You know,
Marley's ghost,
The chains of all his misdeeds he was carrying.
This is accurate.
We carry,
You know,
We don't get away from our karma.
So when we turn and face it,
It hurts,
But we're making it smaller.
And you can ask that it happens at the pace you can handle,
And you will get glorious things happening.
You will have incredible peak experiences that come after suffering.
Big breakthroughs that come after suffering.
Just don't prolong the suffering,
You guys.
Don't,
You know,
This whole culture's focused on trauma,
And it's like,
It's like a badge of honor,
And it's like,
Don't do that.
You want to get through it.
Do a higher vibration.
Two,
Of course,
Guess what happened to Padre Pio?
It's like clockwork.
The church got worried.
It got worried by all the,
You know,
The word of mouth that was happening,
And all the respect that Padre Pio was getting.
And that's,
You know,
They kept investigating him,
And they came,
And they said he was pouring this corrosive stuff on his limbs to give the stigmata.
They also said that there was no supernatural capability proven,
And warned the public not to rely on his claims.
They,
For 10 years,
You guys,
Between 1930s,
1920 to 1931,
I think,
They forbade him to say mass in public,
To hear confessions,
To give blessings,
To answer letters,
To publicly display his stigmata,
And even communicating with his spiritual director.
And through all of this,
Padre Pio kept loving the church,
Which is,
You know,
What Alma says to do.
You know,
It's,
Whatever's happening is prasad.
It's our prasad.
Yeah.
Even though it doesn't feel like it,
But,
You know,
It's,
We're in a world of duality.
So,
He would,
It would flip to this kind of experience.
And then from 1930s to,
Or 30 years to 1930 to the 60s,
He gave his greatest gift.
His power had increased.
He actually had some,
The stories are that he had,
He would have these big fights with his dark side,
With darkness during this period when he was,
When the church was criticizing him so much.
And obviously,
He kept emerging from every,
Every challenge.
So,
Before his death,
Oh yeah,
Before his death,
His stigmata disappeared too,
A couple of months before.
And this man would do four hours of,
His masses lasted four hours,
And he would also do 14 to 16 hours of confession every day.
People came from all over the world.
So,
You see,
He was a huge light,
And huge lights go through challenges.
But,
You know,
Even a piece of day in your ego,
You could totally have a challenge,
You know.
Big challenges happen all the time when people are in their egos.
You know,
Big,
Big,
You know,
Multinational presidents get,
Like,
Pushed out of jobs because the company is not making enough money,
And the humiliation must be profound.
I mean,
These big successful people who fall,
You know,
Must be extremely uncomfortable.
But if you're in your ego,
You've got nothing to fall back on.
So,
Basically,
I'm saying,
Like,
In my experience,
Life is challenging,
But if you develop your faith,
If you develop your connection to truth,
Yeah,
Let's say connection to truth,
Because that includes faith,
And also people who are,
You know,
Are less certain that God exists.
Although with Alma,
With the 40 million people that she's hugged,
It's sort of like,
You know,
You have to be kind of willfully stubborn about it,
I think.
But even just wanting to be in truth.
In my experience,
I was always taken care of,
No matter what challenge I had.
Yep.
And I remember once having a really feeling like,
Oh,
I was getting really attacked by negative spirits.
And I remember thinking,
I was almost feeling like I didn't feel I had any strength.
And I felt like it was just easier to go along with it.
In fact,
There was this one thing where I had,
Where this kind of a negative spirit offered me all kinds of spiritual powers.
It was sort of like,
Give me a whole spectrum of spiritual powers if I just went along with them.
And,
You know,
I was listening,
I was tired.
And then this thought was like,
Oh,
If someone like me goes along with this,
We're really,
You know,
Humanity's really in a mess.
Just because,
You know,
Pirmasut is so kind of wholesome.
I'm talking about serving love and everything.
If I don't hold to that,
Then I just felt like I would do a lot of harm to people.
So,
You know,
I don't want to rattle you particularly,
But I don't know.
We only get what we can handle.
All that stuff,
All the real challenges come as you get higher,
Much higher,
And you can deal with them.
There's always support.
I would like to see things more transparent and spoken about.
All this stuff.
Yeah.
I remember Osho saying,
And maybe he said something else,
But he said women couldn't be spiritual masters because their minds were too timid.
So,
Obviously that's not true,
But watch that you don't let your mind be too timid,
You guys.
I mean,
It's just,
It's such a waste because we really need this rise of the feminine.
Now,
And I thought to myself when I read this,
I sort of thought,
Oh,
Osho,
You're just like a patriarchal guy yourself.
Yeah,
Who needs him?
Who needs him?
And somebody else told me that he said something else,
Something the opposite somewhere else,
But I never saw it.
Today,
When Ama left on her tour,
We were waiting to see her as she passed,
And when she passed,
Her face looked like this pearl,
Like a glimmering white pearl.
It was just transcendent.
Just,
It was,
I was gobsmacked.
Truly,
It was,
Yeah.
And she's probably,
I mean,
I don't know,
But I mean,
It seems like she's always so happy to be able to reach people,
Reach more people.
You know,
But really,
It was just luminous.
Like,
After she left,
It was as if there'd been these rays of white coming from her face.
It was like that.
So,
How great to be in the ashram.
Has any,
I mean,
That's kind of what I,
I just want to talk about this guy,
Because he was just,
You know,
He was a poor peasant boy.
This is what we can do,
You know,
Really.
Especially when we get hugs from Ama,
And she changes our nervous systems,
And our bodies,
And our,
She lifts 80% of our karma.
Can you imagine?
Okay,
Questions,
Comments?
Did anything strike you,
Or is there any question about yourselves that you're wondering about?
Or about the journey?
Did that,
Any of that scare you,
Or did it impress you?
Hello,
Prama Sudha.
Hi,
Everyone.
How are you doing?
I'm feeling better,
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thank you for being in touch this week,
And yeah,
I'm glad to reconnect here at Satsang with everyone.
Yeah,
I'm glad you're here.
Yeah.
Yeah,
I still have a lot of tension in my body,
And this kind of,
You know,
Anxiety,
But much lighter.
So,
It was really,
Really challenging this week.
And it's interesting,
When I was listening to the story,
Because I feel some resistance towards church and Christianity.
So,
It brought some sensations and feelings,
But yeah,
Maybe it's connected to something,
Not sure.
Well,
It could be even connected in the material that you're clearing,
You know?
Yeah,
But yeah,
I'm really grateful.
I see many things now,
You know,
I realized that there is nowhere to run anymore.
Yeah,
Nowhere to run.
Yeah.
I faced myself,
And I had an amazing dream,
Which really helped me this week,
That I was at a wedding.
It was outside on a green field.
I think it was early morning,
Sun was about to rise,
And then the wedding finished.
So,
I don't remember the wedding,
But suddenly,
I was at the funeral.
It was a big grave in front of me,
And there was fire in the grave.
And there was a coffin,
The wooden coffin,
And I was putting that coffin in the grave with someone's help.
We counted to three,
And I just burned it there and flipped,
It was really strange.
But I felt neutral,
And now I really feel that was some part of my identity,
Or,
You know,
Something I really needed to clear,
To.
.
.
Yeah,
Very graphic images,
Eh?
Particularly this attachment wound,
I felt it was,
Well,
Really strong.
I didn't say that again.
What,
What,
What?
Attachment wound,
My attachment wound,
Right?
I felt it was there in the coffin,
Because this is something.
.
.
Your father?
Feeling this week strongly that I'm attaching,
Grasping to something,
And I need to just let it,
Let it go.
Don't hold it anymore.
Strongly.
Right,
Right,
Right.
So,
Did you say your father was in the coffin?
No,
No.
No.
It was,
I think.
.
.
The whole feeling of the attachment.
Wanting identity,
Part of me,
You know,
I want to let go,
I don't want to hold it.
Yeah,
Yeah.
I think it's very clear that's what's happening in the marriage,
You know,
Like an enlightenment happens with the sacred marriage inside,
With the masculine and the feminine,
The innocent masculine and innocent feminine.
As you,
As you clear this material,
The innocent male and female within you get closer and closer,
And then they marry,
And that is self-realization,
You guys,
And that's Jung's sacred marriage.
Carl Jung called it the sacred marriage,
And Amma is building a temple in Australia,
Devoted to the union of Shiva and Shakti.
Yeah,
The male and the female.
And many of you are at this place that Lalita is,
Where you have to face this material,
You have just brought face-to-face with yourself.
This is art,
This is the time,
I think,
Too.
Yeah.
This is good.
So really good.
And this is how we get to know ourselves,
Lalita.
Yeah.
I'm also reading the book you recommended,
Search for the Ocean,
It's really helpful as well.
So I'm halfway through,
And yeah,
I really support it.
Good.
Yeah,
Good.
It's,
You know,
The book was written to help people go through blocks.
Yeah.
It's good.
Good,
Good,
Good.
Well,
I'm glad you reached out,
And it's,
Yeah,
It's,
You know,
This stuff becomes so manageable if you have company,
If you have support,
If you have,
Like,
Loving people who are doing the same thing.
It becomes almost easy compared to,
You know,
Trying to do it all by yourself,
And,
You know,
Getting scared with it.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Good for you,
Sweetie.
Good.
Good.
I can feel that you've risen to this.
Good.
And,
You know,
Don't be in a rush to get out of it.
I mean,
Don't stay in it too long,
But it,
As the tension lifts,
And the anxiety lifts,
And pain lifts,
You're actually through the complex.
When the discomfort is gone,
You're actually through the complex in your head as well.
It's left your body.
So,
Just kind of notice it,
You know,
And notice what intensifies it,
And notice what makes you feel better,
Just like with Sebastian when he was talking with the edema of ankles,
And it's gone away.
So,
He should pay attention to what makes it come back,
And what makes it go away.
This is how you guys,
You learn responsibility,
How to take care of yourself,
How to take care of the soul within you.
Yeah.
That's good.
I'm also seeing pictures of ice melting,
Sweet one.
So,
I think there's an inside you,
You know,
Women,
We can,
When we're wounded,
We get icy.
We just turn to ice inside,
You know,
And we go numb.
So,
When we awaken,
That ice melts,
And we get our hearts back.
We start getting our full hearts back.
So,
I'm just seeing this ice melting,
Too,
So this is good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I really resonate with the fact that we need to find a way to support ourselves,
Right?
And because I started working again full-time after four years,
For some time,
Because I needed to,
You know,
Save some money,
And it brought this escalation,
Because it's a very intense consulting job I'm not supposed to do anymore.
So,
This is something I'm also trying to feel,
How can I support myself,
Right,
In this way,
And not to make it happen again like this,
Because I know it's not supported for me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The universe gets very,
You know,
Especially when we've asked to come into truth,
And if we're going the wrong way at all,
The universe gets very severe,
Quickly.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And this stops us in our tracks,
And then we have to go,
Okay,
Show me.
It's one of the nice things about getting older,
You guys,
Stuff's over,
It's done.
Like,
Yep.
Yeah.
But good.
Good.
Yeah.
It's good.
Well,
May it get easier and easier.
Is this,
Do you need anything else?
Is that,
Do you feel complete,
Or is there more,
Sweet one?
Yeah,
I'm still in the process.
So,
Like,
I have more clarity for sure,
Like,
During this week,
Which brings me more peace and comfort.
So,
Yeah,
I'm just trying to,
To be present,
And this is helpful to bringing me back to presence.
So,
Yeah,
Thank you so much,
And I'm glad,
Yeah,
To be in touch.
Yeah,
Good.
I'm glad.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's,
The universe is really turning up the heat in my experience right now.
So,
We're all being called to walk our talk more,
And be truer,
And it's getting more painful if we're going off.
This is my experience.
So,
And this is good,
Because this will keep us focused on our,
Walking our talk,
Being in truth,
And then we'll learn how.
You know,
This shift we're making,
We're coming out of a level of consciousness that's been very focused on,
You know,
Wealth accumulation,
And outward action in the world,
And we're moving into a consciousness that's more inward-looking,
More focused on relationship,
More focused on our thoughts and feelings,
You know,
A more,
One where,
Or more God-centered.
So,
It's not such an easy transition,
But if you're with people who've walked it,
It's,
And can support you,
Then it's so doable.
You know,
It's not that bad,
And at least you're,
You know,
You're going the way of the universe.
You're not somebody who's,
You know,
Working in a corporation,
Totally asleep,
And getting fired,
You know,
In New York or something,
You know,
Like,
I mean,
In a very kind of hostile,
Competitive city.
I mean,
You know,
That sounds like absolute hell to me,
You know,
To be a seeker,
And to having,
You know,
Clearing your complexes,
But you've got access to people who are awake and can help you,
That seems so much easier and better,
Safer.
Yeah,
Yeah,
We're blessed,
You guys,
We're blessed,
And bless even the pain,
Because it's,
You know,
It's waking you up,
It's steering you into the life you came here to live.
It's freeing you,
You know,
And you came to do it,
So it's good,
You're doing it,
You're not running away.
Yeah,
Yeah.
Okay,
Thank you.
How about,
Does somebody else want to say anything?
Franka,
Did you want to say something?
No?
Okay.
Yeah,
Maxi,
Sweet one,
How are you doing?
You've been going through some difficulty too,
Eh?
Yes,
I have,
And it really helped me when you sent the videos about the saints,
Catholic saints yesterday.
I really like the stories,
Even,
I don't know,
Like half a year ago,
When we read the book about the pilgrimage,
I really love it,
I love the stories.
Me too.
It just helps me,
Because I didn't take the church serious before that,
And it helps me to take the church serious and not see all the bad they have done.
So,
It's really good for me to know it is in our country too,
And not only in the East and somewhere else.
So,
For me,
It's very supportive to hear the stories.
Yeah,
You can see,
That's why I'm pointing out the similarities,
Yeah,
It's good for us to honour our heritage,
I think.
Right,
Yeah,
Yeah,
That's what helps me,
Yeah.
Yeah,
Good.
Good,
Yeah.
Yeah,
The pain,
I mean,
Yeah,
It helped me to hear it.
I mean,
You've been telling me that it's just,
I just have to swim through it,
Like Amma says,
But to hear it from the saints too,
How,
Was it St.
Catherine,
Or Therese,
I don't remember,
Who was talking to Jesus,
Like this 20 minutes,
And it was so touching,
How he just said,
I just want your smallness.
Right.
And it was,
It really,
I loved it.
It's so simple.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah,
It's very feminine,
It's a feminine,
It's,
Which saint was it,
The saint of smallness,
It's like she,
She basically,
She was a really important saint,
Because she basically emphasised vulnerability,
And that you can take your vulnerability to God,
But that's the whole point,
And not to try to protect yourself,
Not to,
You know,
Be prideful,
Not to put on a mask,
Just be totally vulnerable,
And,
You know,
Bring this connection to God into your daily life in just small ways.
And this is what Amma is teaching too.
It's just,
We just,
I don't know,
Our training is to be so career-oriented or something,
We're just,
We're just so far away from this stuff.
We have to come back to it.
Yeah.
Be brought back to it.
So,
This vulnerability,
You guys,
That's the thing that's the,
The thing that I find the hardest to find in you,
To reach your vulnerability,
Many of you are trying to protect yourselves a lot.
Yeah.
But it's okay,
Because,
You know,
We,
We,
We,
You can't just be vulnerable with anybody,
And you have to be ready for it.
But obviously,
Maxie,
It helped you accept your vulnerability to read about this saint,
And the saints,
And what they went through,
And yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That was my,
Yeah,
Because I've had these,
I mean,
These thoughts about not having a career,
And it's been ongoing and ongoing,
And this feeling not,
Not to be not enough,
Just to be a mom,
Like it is in our culture.
And it just,
It kind of goes into myself to more and more to accept myself and my way and how my life is.
It's just,
Yeah,
It feels,
It's good.
Yeah,
To hear that.
Yeah.
You know,
This is this coming from this being energy,
Where you do out of being,
That Prama Sutta talks about,
Alma lives by,
Prama Sutta lives in this.
So,
This is,
I think,
Part of what you're struggling with,
Like in our culture,
It says,
Okay,
You're,
You're qualified now,
Go,
Go build a career.
But this being way,
You,
You'd have to do it from the inside out,
As it feels okay,
You take steps.
Right.
And that's what,
Where you helped me with,
Because I,
Yeah.
Right.
It's kind of going into this.
Yeah.
What did you say,
Radical?
Well,
It's very radical to be living this way in this culture,
You see.
Yeah.
So,
You're,
The stress of it is understandable.
Like,
That it's,
You know,
You're not sure about it.
But it,
Or,
You know,
There's a bit of conflict about it,
But it,
You're doing it,
And it does work.
I mean,
That's what Prama Sutta.
Yeah.
And you know what,
You will work,
You will be far happier and less stressed at work.
If you do it this way,
The way I'm talking about,
The way you're doing it,
Then if you try to do it the other way.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah,
I start feeling it.
And it feels like I cannot do it the other way anymore.
And I don't know how to do it the new way yet.
So,
It's kind of in between.
But I'm trying to be patient and just walk through it.
Yes.
Whatever.
Yeah,
Good.
Good.
That's a very clear statement.
That's very true what you said.
It's like,
You know,
You don't know how to do it,
Though.
You can't do it the old way,
But you don't know how to do it in the new way yet.
Yeah.
But you'll feel into it.
And you're coming to the ashram.
So.
Oh,
Yeah.
One more week,
Jayma.
So excited.
I find it so extraordinary that I chose to come to the ashram when there's so many of you here coming.
I think that's so beautiful.
Oh,
We chose to come to you,
Maybe too.
That I get to do little satsangs with you here and stuff.
And it's like,
Wow,
Bonus,
You know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
See you all.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Just keep going.
Keep going.
And I'm glad this helps you be more at peace with the Catholic Church because,
You know,
It was doing its best.
And there's some beautiful,
You know,
There are beautiful parts to it.
You know,
Nothing's all bad,
Except,
You know,
All institutions,
They start protecting themselves.
All institutions,
Not just the Catholic Church.
All of them do.
You know,
Look,
You know,
They all do.
It's like the,
You know,
The charities always start spending less money on helping and they start doing getting,
Spending more money paying the people to do the jobs on the bureaucracy.
This is so inevitable.
This is what happens with humanity right now.
But maybe as we move more into the feminine,
This won't happen quite the same.
So maybe this,
Even institutions will be more responsive to truth.
Who knows?
Who knows what's possible?
Yeah.
Padre Pio never got to meet a Pope,
And that broke his heart.
It's sad.
It's sort of sad.
I was thinking about this.
Here's this guy,
He's so illuminated,
And he really wanted to meet the Pope.
And,
You know,
Really,
The Pope should have been desperate to meet Padre Pio,
You know,
In the way of,
Like,
You know,
If Christ came first in the Church,
The Pope would be desperate to meet Padre Pio,
You know.
The Church would,
You know,
It wouldn't do this,
But,
Oh well,
It seems to be in all our institutions.
So,
And part of what made Padre Pio the man he was,
Was that he loved the Church without conflict.
He was totally devoted to it.
And that's part of his beauty.
Yeah.
It's like,
Look at Amadou,
Loved everybody who caused her difficulty,
Especially in the early years.
And even this person tried to kill her,
And she went to the hospital,
And took care of him while he was in hospital.
It's just,
It's amazing.
Basically,
You guys,
It's just love.
If you could just love,
Love yourself,
Love others.
Love the world.
Observe when you,
You know,
Have trouble loving.
Observe when you,
You know,
When resentment comes up,
Fear,
Hatred,
All those things.
It's the mud of the lotus.
If you don't go along with the storyline,
If you can witness and go,
You know,
It doesn't help the world to feel all this.
But you're casting a,
You know,
You're stopping the light from going in.
Alma talks about the more you're running fear,
Resentment,
Or hatred,
The more your aura darkens,
And the light can't come in or out.
Your light can't come out,
And no light can come in.
And that's when we feel very lonely and separate,
You guys,
When our aura is dark with our own garbage.
This is,
This is,
You know,
The ridiculousness of it all.
But when we're in it,
We think it's coming from outside us.
We don't think it has anything to do with us.
We think it's everybody else's fault.
And I know what I was like.
That's why I'm patient with you guys.
But truly,
We're the ones who stop the light from coming to us.
Yeah.
From a pseudo.
Yes,
Marianne.
I've got a question.
Because in another satsang,
You said,
It's good to go through the feelings,
Like to feel the fear,
Or to feel anger,
Or to feel.
And now you said,
We don't have to do it.
Is it like?
Yeah,
It's good to witness them,
Witness them.
But if you can witness them,
And know that you're in a state of hating somebody,
Rather than thinking that it's true,
That it's 100% true,
You know?
Like,
Even if it's like 10%,
Like if 90% of you is caught hating somebody,
And 10% of you knows that you're,
You know,
That you're hating,
And it's,
You're darkening your aura,
And you're,
But it's useless.
That's good enough.
Yeah.
But over time,
The hatred,
And the hatred should get less.
Like,
Pramasutra doesn't hate anybody.
I haven't hated anybody for years.
And I used to.
I carried primal hatred of nears and dears.
I had to get over it.
Yeah,
Like,
I know this stuff,
You guys.
Yeah.
It's like,
If you just,
You know,
Also,
If you just can go like,
It's not useful to play here.
And to pray to God to show you another way,
Even of looking at the situation.
You know?
We have one way of looking at things,
We're the hero,
And the other people are bad,
And they're doing us wrong.
But if we can be flexible,
It's like,
How can we look at the situation differently and see it from their eyes,
Perhaps?
Yeah.
Something,
You know,
With me,
When I caused all that,
When I went through all that emotional pain,
Everybody in my family was so horrible to me,
I thought,
But I realized afterwards,
I scared them all.
They were scared.
And they were scared because they carried the same,
Like,
Complexes,
Right?
So,
It's like,
If Pramasutra had a fault like that,
Wow,
They could too.
You see,
I never thought of that.
I thought,
Oh,
You're just being mean to me.
Yeah.
So,
You grow out of this stuff,
And you go,
Oh,
What a relief it is not to be doing this anymore,
Not to be carrying this stuff,
Not to be thinking this way.
You know,
It really helps to pray to God and ask for help and speak to your angels.
And,
You know,
Amma talks about this little crippled girl,
And she was talking about how she would desperately sort of watch and wait for rainbows.
She spent her life watching and looking for rainbows,
You know,
For the union of the sun and the rain.
And basically,
Amma and the satsang were saying,
We should live like that.
You know,
Be sort of desperate for,
She never spelled it out,
What the rainbow meant.
But Pramasutra,
I thought it was,
You know,
Basically,
Desperate to get this divine understanding,
To get these divine experiences and divine perceptions and divine understanding that heal our lives.
And Amma was saying,
I was saying to the satsang group that,
I think it was a satsang group,
That Amma said,
We're in wheelchairs,
You guys,
We're in wheelchairs.
This will probably be a satsang for next week.
Maybe I'll talk with you directly about this.
We're in wheelchairs,
Because we were crippled.
We're crippled,
Because we haven't found the mental strength to move through this darkness to the light.
So we stay in the darkness,
Circle in the darkness,
And it keeps us crippled.
So when you go through these periods of darkness,
And you experience the transformation,
You develop more mental strength to get through the next one.
Yeah.
And most of us subside into resenting and feeling sorry for ourselves,
But you guys,
Like,
I'm,
You know,
I'm older.
So,
Like,
I'm having a really happy old age.
But I'm really aware that,
You know,
What does Paul Newman say?
I mean,
He was quoting somebody else.
It's old age isn't for sissies.
And if you have a lot of unresolved crap on top of,
You know,
A body that's getting tired,
Not working so well,
That's not fun.
So move through this stuff while you're young.
And you've got the energy.
Our premise is very,
Very grateful that I'm not bothered anymore.
Really,
I'm like,
I'm just so happy to be like,
I am so happy to be a poster child for like,
You can do it,
You guys,
You can do it.
Yeah,
You can.
And even,
You know,
Any progress,
Any reduction of the garbage helps the world and makes your life better.
You know,
So much better this life and also next life.
You know,
When you go and you set up circumstances and you've got this karma,
So you have to set up circumstances to re-imprint yourself with it.
Well,
How great if you dump the karma so you can have a life that's,
You know,
Way more fun,
Way more positive,
Maybe a self-realized person next door,
You know.
Why not?
Sounds nice to me.
I told you,
One of Prema Siddha's favorite things to do is I work with people who've passed over in the first three days,
And I help them dump garbage.
This is from the East.
The East sages say you can do this.
This is my experience.
It's a reality.
Because there's some people that really,
I help this guy release some garbage,
And he came over and kissed me energetically when I was working with him.
So cute.
He was just like so happy to be helped.
He came over and kissed me,
And it's like,
Oh,
That's so sweet.
It's so sweet.
But,
You know,
In the West,
We wouldn't really think this is possible,
But my experience,
It is.
There's a lot we Westerners don't know.
There's a lot of really exciting stuff that we don't know,
That you can,
You know,
As you proceed in the journey,
You can find out about.
I'll tell you,
It's gloriously fulfilling to be able to help people drop garbage just when they passed over.
And some people,
It's,
They drop an enormous amount.
And then some people,
There's one person who died in Ashram,
They hardly had any left.
It was just so beautiful.
It was just like,
There was hardly any left.
Yeah,
This is probably stretching your sense of what's possible.
But Pramasiddha lives in a place where there's a lot of miracles that happen just regularly.
So,
You know.
And why do we believe so in this dull,
Dreary,
Three-dimensional reality?
Why do we think this is true,
You guys?
This,
I'm like,
Why are we so focused on it?
Like,
I'm always talking about that the scientists were now trying to insert cells into people to help,
They're trying to look for how to have more compassionate people.
So,
They were working with moving cells into,
Injecting cells into people to promote compassion.
And it's so stupid.
It's ridiculous.
It's just,
It's ridiculous.
It's faulty reasoning.
But our conditioning is so heavily three-dimensional that,
You know,
It seems like a scientific thing for them to do.
Yeah.
So,
You know,
You just keep opening and thinking about God,
Just following the things,
You know,
Reading.
You will grow in vibration and you will outgrow your worldview.
And a lot of you have already outgrown your worldview.
There's a place in satsangs that happens sometimes where it's sort of like all of you,
The energies of all of you join together and it's kind of like an energy of you want?
What?
You want?
And it starts feeling really thick and stuck to premisuda.
Like,
Oh,
Okay.
Okay.
I don't live there anymore.
You can grow out of it.
Life is way richer and way more miraculous than anything.
I don't know.
It's true.
God exists.
You know,
It's what I wonder.
It's like,
Here's this woman.
She's like 40 million people.
She's standing in front of us.
She's,
You know,
There's so many miracles around her.
So why does anybody have any doubt at all?
I can't understand it,
Really.
Except,
You know,
Our complexes come up,
And when they come up,
They blind us.
And we're full of,
You know,
Some,
Maybe we lived in biblical times,
And so we've got like a belief in punishment and judgment coming up.
That's what can happen.
It comes up,
And we,
You know,
We just,
We're just in it till we let it go.
You get more and more skilled,
And you can watch this stuff like watching clouds go by.
It finally gets like that.
You get so skilled at it that you no longer take it seriously.
You know you're in your stuff,
And you,
It's sort of like just watching clouds go by.
Yeah.
I'm still trying to move people around who keep sitting near her for 25 years in the same seat.
It's a whole thing of big comedy.
And we've got a war going on.
Two wars.
It's just like,
Oh my goodness.
So why would we hold on to the old way?
Okay,
Any questions,
Comments,
You guys?
Or Masuda can do a plank for a minute and 30 seconds in one go.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good,
Barry.
I'm glad you're feeling better.
Yeah.
That's it.
I mean,
This,
You know,
It keeps your mind up a bit,
So you believe the storylines a little less than Prima Suda's happy,
You know.
And,
You know,
When you,
When we do it,
You,
Yourselves lock into divine love.
Yeah.
When we come together,
We're all connected through this divine love.
And that helps.
It's part of what reprograms your body.
Even if you can't,
If you're not feeling it,
Don't worry.
It's still there,
And it's still reminding yourselves of your divine nature.
Yeah.
And remember,
Do everything to help yourself.
You know,
The mantras,
You know,
The petal meditations,
Readings,
Do things to help yourself.
Yeah.
Because we,
We all have to save ourselves.
Oh,
Chitanya.
Okay.
Okay.
I'll,
I'll,
I'll work with her.
Thank you.
Goodbye.
Goodbye.
Did you see the note that Chitanya passed?
Is she in the California ashram,
Shivamayi?
Are you there?
Do you want to speak?
Yes,
Yes,
She is.
She was in a,
Yes,
She was,
I think her real name,
Her other name is Carol Knight.
And she had,
She was in Home for the Elders the past year or so.
That's what the name of it was.
She loves Amma.
I'm pretty sure it was this morning.
It was either last night or this morning.
Okay.
Okay.
I'll,
I'll,
I'll find her.
I'll find her.
I always find them.
Okay,
Good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay,
Good.
Good.
I love doing it.
I just love doing it.
Because it's sort of like a get out jail free card.
It's sort of like just pure beneficence.
I mean,
Just getting a boost that you hadn't expected,
You know.
I just feel so strongly about helping people out of their stuff,
Right?
Because I was such a prisoner.
So it makes me so happy to do anything to help.
But remember,
You guys,
Keep doing your,
You know,
Some of you,
You don't do much to help yourself,
You know.
So do the things to help yourself,
You know.
Okay.
That works the best.
Yeah,
Because,
You know,
Nobody can save us.
I mean,
Remusuda can only do for you what you allow.
And the more that you love and honor yourself and take care of yourself and do the things that help,
Help you,
The more you'll be able to let Remusuda's love into your heart to help.
The more you'll be able to receive it.
Yeah.
Yeah,
Good.
Good.
Good.
I'll talk about the wheelchairs next time.
Yeah,
Because it's,
We're,
It's a rising up time,
You know.
I see people all over facing their stuff.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well,
Thank you for coming,
You dear souls.
Bless your dear,
Dear heart.
I love you so much,
You guys.
And it's just a joy to help.
Oh,
Suzanne,
How's Stefan's back?
Is it any better?
Stefan is going to pain right now a little bit.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah,
It's kind of brought him to,
It's bringing him to a surrender,
Isn't it?
Yeah,
I know.
He sleeps a lot.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's all good.
He have good dreams.
And yeah,
The really good dream.
Yeah,
Really transcendent dream.
So it's all good.
I just think he's being brought to his knees for this.
Yeah,
Of course.
So yeah,
He's going to be brought to a better vibration,
A better.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah,
He is doing very well.
Yeah,
He's doing very well.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I saw this sort of bolt of lightning go into him,
A bolt of just,
I told you this,
I'm just telling the others in the prayer page,
Sometimes I'm,
I see things when I'm praying.
And I saw this bolt of light go into Stefan's body.
Yeah.
And he has a really big heart.
And yeah,
Sometimes he look as a little three-year-old Stefan.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So yeah.
And then after this bolt,
Suzanne said that Stefan had this transformational dream.
So he's,
Yeah,
I feel like he's being,
He's just got to go through this,
Right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Anyway,
It's good that you're there to take care of him.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Bye.
